woahhh lucky duck you're taking Japanese class. ;u; we don't have that at my school. So I'm taking Spanish. I'm missing my last teacher too. D''': She taught us A WHOLE LOT of funny words like nalgas(butt cheeks), desnudo(naked), and she even said breasts once but I don't remember it LOL Not only that but we would make hilarious stories about celebrities and hitting and ohhhhh such wonderful memories. :'D
My new teacher doesn't always speak Spanish which is kinda good i guess since she talks really fast, but my old teacher would make you speak Spanish and ONLY Spanish while in her classroom. XD though when she spoke Spanish, she would speak slowly, and if no one got the instructions or the story she was telling she would draw a picture or give an example but still speak in Spanish. She was fun and crazy as well as a wonderful teacher.

Congrats on making it to top orchestra!! And yeah I know what you mean. @___@ I made it to top orchestra at my school and the music was a LOT harder than I thought it would be. I'm terrible at sight reading too. Not only that but when we were sight reading, we still went at a really fast speed on a super fast song. @____@ I had to go home and really practice my part.
The best way is to take it slow and focus on the rhythm before notes because even though being in tune and stuff is important, if the section isn't together the whole thing falls apart. Listening to recordings help a lot too. :D So maybe you could try finding the songs you're playing on youtube or something.

Last year I asked one of my teachers where my locker was and they just glared and me and said 'You know where you're locker is...' then again, this teacher was a BIG JERK...sooo....maybe I shouldn't have asked her...but she always somehow walks in on the conversation even if I'm talking to another teacher...Like what she did with our librarian...who I don't think likes her either...XD

I think that's how it was at my old school...except it was on Mondays and Thursdays we'd have 1, 3, and 5...then on Tuesdays and Fridays we had 2, 4, and 6, but on Wednesday we had all of our classes and only had 7th period on this day...Or something...I actually can't remember what my 7th period was...maybe I didn't have a 7th period...O.O Nope, asked me mommy, she says that we only had 7th on Wednesday...I think it was my computer class...That was actually very good because I hated that class (it was SOOO BORING...and we could get on the computers during lunch, to do whatever we want everyday for like and hour...>.> I did not need a computer class).

Orange...and blue...O.o; That's...ugly...but at least it's not as boring as my school colours...They're Blue and White...My old school colours were Blue and Yellow and then the high school was Blue and Grey...which I actually liked those colours....but why is blue always a school colour (actually my school's rival school is maroon and yellow...XD).

My school has the stupidest schedule.
On one day (called orange days) I have classes 1, 3, 5, and 7. Then the next day (called blue days) I have 2, 4, 6, and 7. We have 7th period every day, and it's half as long as the other classes. :D
They're called orange and blue days because that's our school's colors. xD;
