Well, even vocaloids sound better than auto-tuned...it's just that something still sounds weird or off...O.o;
I was thinking the same thing about paper jamz, about how funny it would be to see somebody in concert use it. But I guess that makes sense...for little kids. I just wish they used kids. Then again, I remember when I was little I wanted all the stuff the 'big kids' had...XD
Exactly, it's kind of taking out the human element in music. :/ And I agree with you saying, it's just helping their ego. It's no fun hearing some mechanical thing sing for you, anyways... I know the thing is meant to be a toy, but still...
I dunno, maybe it's fun for kids? xD I highly doubt someone who's seriously determined to play an instrument would get a paper jamz instrument... (It'd be kind of funny to go to a concert and see some guy playing a paper jamz. xD)
*jaw drops* I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT EXISTS! Wow...just...wow...That also makes me very mad. First of all, I don't like auto-tune because I think it makes your voice sound even worse (I like the little mistakes in things, it just seems a bit more beautiful) and second...KIDS CAN'T GO THROUGH LIFE THINKING THEY CAN SING WHEN THEY CAN'T. Sure are taking the fun out of hearing your own voice sing a song, or making you own style in singing.
I really don't like paper jamz in general. I thought their paper guitar was seriously stupid. Why would you buy a fake instrument when you can buy a real instrument? Money problems!? When it comes to real music, money shouldn't be a problem (in other words, if you're determined to buy this guitar then save the money to buy the guitar!).
I have no idea, man. I bet she makes people mad.
This was on TV. xD When I first saw it, I was like "??!?!??!?!!?!?!?"
Yeah.
Very very very strange product.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha that's so funny! xDD It shows her singing all bad, and then the girl LEXI comes out of the TV with the microphone. Who the heck is Lexi, anyways?! She's like, "It's me, Lexi!" as if we know who she is or something. Haha.
Yeah :c I mean, I like it better when it's not auto-tuned, it makes voices easier to distinguish(which I like for some reason) and well, I think auto-tuning is just really unnecessary :/
And I mean, so what if you're not an amazing singer? Just have fun/practice, I KNOW THAT FROM EXPERIENCE D<
That's what I'm thinking, it's hindering people from practicing and improving. :/ It also kind of makes everyone sound the same.... I like uniqueness in a singing voice. But that's my personal preference.
Oh, that is just horrible D:< SERIOUSLY, I don't care if auto-tuning supposedly makes singing sound "better," it's just NGHHH D< I honestly think that auto-tuning kinda prevents people from trying to improve their singing, I mean, it would be like, "Why bother trying to get better at singing when you can just auto-tune it?"
And this is coming from someone who has been in her schools' chorus for 3(soon to be 4, once school starts) years and has been trying to improve her singing talent D':
...And now I'll stop speaking in third person and stop rambling >_>

Indeed. What has the world come to when we are encouraged to hide who we are, even by the media?

It is very strange.... ._. Kind of defeats the purpose of practicing singing, etc etc.
