Haha, anyways, I'm going to agree with Den Chan on this one. The Charlie Brown segment of the dance is supposed to mimic the way he walks/fails to kick Lucy's football. THOUGH SOMETIMES it depends on the group of people you are dancing with. If they do the criss cross move, you don't wanna look weird bobbing around like a cartoon character from Peanuts.

I don't mind the dance, really. It's a subtle way to make people look goofy at parties~

I have no idea what the charlie brown is. So when it comes to that part, I just stop and watch everyone else, and of course, they all do something different. I don't really love the song, but I'll dance to it anytime! :D

The Cha Cha Slide is fun! :D Though I haven't done it in two years ;A; But whenever I did the "Charlie Brown," I did it the same way as Den-chan; That's what all my 8th grade classmates did when we did the Cha Cha Slide during our little 8th grade dance |D

Well, apparently it's what everyone else said in the comments--kind of like running in place, or leaning forward on one leg then leaning back and landing on the other leg. I used to think it was where you put your hands on your knees and kind of criss-crossed your hands back and fourth while moving your knees. xD;

I hate the Cha Cha Slide...ugh bugg...;m; It's not even dancing and I never found it to be fun. I do like some of those line dancing where they just sing about it and you do it (not them telling you to do it), but you have to know what the dance is before you do it. What is it, the electric boogie/electric slide? That's pretty fun, because it's simple and you don't need to be told, you just follow the other people dancing to it (I wonder if people still play this at dances...).

Also, I don't know what the 'charlie brown' dance is...O.o; Maybe I do? But nothing's coming to mind of what that really is.

For the Charlie Brown, I jump in place and land on one leg, lean back, jump, and land on the other leg. I think it's called the Charlie Brown because it imitates the way he slips when he tries to kick Lucy's football.
And I love that song :D I always dance to it whenever it comes on.

When I did the Charlie Brown, I always thought it was the thing where you criss-cross your hands over your knees, or something. :o But I think the way you're saying is the real way. xD

I don't like dancing, but I love the Cha-Cha Slide. It's the only dance I'd do in public or in private. (Don't judge me, please). And the Charlie Brown is kinda like a jog-in-place.
