I have large gaps of time between my classes, too. I mean, I guess that's good for studying, but I honestly am thinking too much about how to get to my next class on time rather than reading that book etc. (even though I will probably do that now).

I know what you mean! It's the same in my Japanese class. There are some Chinese students who know a ton of Kanji, but don't know how to say it in Japanese and know nothing about hiragana or katakana, but their pronunciation is great....'orz Or in my Spanish class there are some people who can speak really well and some who are just good students even though they don't know how to speak....Like people who know grammar and others who know pronunciation and vocab...it's weird....'orz

It's not too bad since I took Japanese in high school. I feel slightly confused because I don't know what grammar everyone else knows... like they know things I don't, and I might know things they don't. GAH.
