I know, I kinda hope for that too...;m; I feel like the era of type of art websites were are used to is over. That or I am so worried about the business aspect I don't really notice the friendship side...but for the most part everyone seems to be spread out...

Before it was like theO and/or deviantart plus maybe myspace and a video website and now it's every popular social media and anything you can get your hands on to stay up to date. It's kind of annoying actually...the internet was like a hang out place for me and now it just seems like a rushing stream of content...I dunno I am just ranting now...

Hm, hm... I use picarto for art streaming, but I haven't really tried being active in the community (?) there... And yeah, it's really frustrating. ;0;/ I JUST WANNA CHILL, POST ART, LEAVE COMMENTS, AND MAKE FRIENDS....!! Hopefully another art website comes around sometime. ;o;9

I use Behance.net as a sort of portfolio site, but unless you get super famous it's really hard to gather fans :( UGH SOCIAL NETWORKING

Some artists do well on twitter too, but I have no idea what i'm doing there half the time

I dunno about art communities, but some people use twitch like they do live streaming for art...so maybe that's an option? I dun really know...I have been smacked with the same dealio...I feel like the popular sites now are so much harder to make friends with online...like you gotta be more aggressive or something I dunno..O.o;

It's not as easy as just leaving a comment, like everyone else, onto a pic, you gotta reblog, share, display it on your profile...;m;
