I know, and that's what I don't understand. There is such a huge fan base for FF7/Advent Children. Hell, how many games get a freaking beautiful CG movie made for them years after the game was released?

You realize that it's us that is keeping the faith and love for this game alive. The powers that be in charge really could care less. Otherwise they would've remade it and made it better by now. What, with the tech we have now, the o.g. would end up looking like an Atari game compared to the power the PC/PS3/360 has right now

I do agree with you. I'd really like to play it just to see the story, cause that looks interesting. And lets face it, I tend to love most things final fantasy. But I seriously suck at shooter like games, and I'm afraid it'd be like that lol. Why couldn't think make a game for Cloud?! At least he's a melee character! I can do that lol.
