Not the comp. It was the modem. Apparently it ended up being defective and I've had it for almost 2 years so of course it's out of warranty. Calls to ATT and now I've finally got me a new modem that I'll be making payments on. Seems to be a better model so let's see but for now I shouldn't have anymore blackouts.

I do hope that it will stay working for you.^^ I know how that can be annoying...

I think I'd curl up into a ball of my internet didn't work. I hope the modem keeps working for you. What's wrong with your comp?

Thank you. Seriously, the tech guy at ATT told me it could've been anywhere from Friday to Monday that I wouldn't get my new modem and the guy I was able to piggyback off of his wi-fi isn't around anymore. So my only other option would be like McDonalds or Burger King and that get's annoying having to go out like that just to use the net.
