Yea something about that 1st album was so wonderful. I think for me it was the whole rock/rap. And I know people hated that whole genre but still LP did a bang up job from the start. After their 2nd album, they just sort of lost me

I do like this song too! I admit it, it all my shame lol, that Breaking the Habit is still one of my fav songs of theirs. It was probably the first song of theirs I really, really liked back in the day.
