Exactly. I was like, "Edward Norton who? Anthony Hopkins what?"
Only thing I didn't like about Red Dragon was the fact that they revealed how Hannibal Lecter was caught; my brain didn't want to know. I merely wanted that detail to be one of those mysterious, "I wonder..." moments, that people would theorize about.
AUGH GOD I NEED TO SEE IT THENNN

I could watch Red Dragon 5 times in a row just for him. You know someone's great when you can't even remember Hannibal Lecter/Anthony Hopkins is in the movie whenever he comes on screen.
GBH is fantastic, and I'm not saying this lightly. There are just so many details that it's nigh impossible to catch everything the first watch. The lighting, the decor, the framing, the actors - everything basically made it impossible for me to give any future movie a 10, haha.
I have not, but I have been really, really wanting to see it because I heard so many fantastic things about it. And Ralph. ;)
I think I actually fell in love with Ralph's acting when I saw Red Dragon years ago; it was a prequel to Silence of the Lambs, and all I have to say is, 'yes please'.
Those people don't know what they're missing, I tell ya. Totally a more interesting character in the movies than Harry himself, and he was visibly enjoying that over-the-topness. Have you seen his latest movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel? Both him and it are amazing!
I love all of the movies, but this was pretty funny. And Ralph Fiennes is indeed a sexy mofo, which made so many people stare at me strangely when I was molesting him with my eyes while watching all of the movies. Their loss. More fanficton for me.
IDK, I've never liked Daniel Radcliffe to begin with. And the portrayal of Dumbledore in Goblet of Fire was terrible, it was extremely out of character for him to shout at Harry so much or threaten him. I don't remember everything from the books, but I do think he made Harry feel ashamed of his own actions but never outright threatened him. It was a very disappointing movie for me.
I hope the last 3 movies are good, at least. I know they won't live up to the books (I've heard they cut a lot of stuff out), but maybe they'll at least be decent...
To be honest I've never felt bored reading Harry Potter. A great series of books, truly. I love the world, the characters, and the overall story is amazing.
I've seen all of the HP movies and the only ones I truly enjoyed were the first two. Mostly because of the guy that played Dumbledore. And I didn't like the last 6 movies cause they changed too much and kind of stopped being true to the books. I didn't care for the Order of the Phoenix Movie much either. It is too watered down and it just wasn't there for me, neither was the movie adaptation of the Goblet of Fire. They all miss something with me. I don't know, I like them but I don't like them. Make any sense? Just my two cents worth on the subject...

I already re-read all the books in about two weeks this summer, actually! It felt so good to be back in that universe and I didn't feel bored for one second! Unfortunately, I'm stuck on the 5th movie now, for some reason I just don't feel like finishing it :(
Haha I love this. Accurate review too. They echo my thoughts exactly. Epic review is epic. *O* seriously this is good.
Makes me want to read Harry Potter again. Its been awhile.

Maybe, depends if I have a lot of silly/stupid to work with XD So far I'm liking OotP, though I've only seen like 10% of it.
Had a bit of a shock when Tonks turned out to be Osha from GoT, lmao.
