The current season is on break and will return sometime in September. Then there will be a Christmas special. The next season may be split between 2012 and 2013 since 2013 is the 50th anniversary of the series and they're indicating they want to so something special for it.

Yeah, its frustrating that they're splitting the season this year, but next year we may have to wait longer for the season to start. From what I can gather they might start next season in the fall and then finish up at the start of 2013, since that is the 50th anniversary year of the series. Not positive on that though.
