Now the comedies:
Inou Battle:
The cast continues to be really solid and likeable. The man guy, as chuuni as he is continues to show that he is more than some immature kid. The balance of comedy and character development is good, Hell, the fact that there is character development is good. What I really like is that, beyond the fact that the characters do have real super powers, is that the show doesn't make a big deal out of it and it isn't degrading to its chuuni's.
Kokkuri-san:
More characters are introduced and the comedy is still making me laugh. As far as real character development, it is slow going in place of the humor, but that's okay. Bit's and pieces are dropped each episode and the humor doesn't distract from it.
And now my magical girls:
Yuki Yuna:
The last episode I reviewed from there were four girls, now there are five. The new girl came from, well, the city or something that seems to be the place where the God talks from. She was sent to more or less fight till the end of the Heroes' term. Which ends after they defeat twelve of the enemies.
Well, they have and it's only episode 6. The show continues to do some new things while keeping its direction close to its chest. those new things begin with Togo, the paraplegic. In all the shows I've watched, there has never been a cripple as a magical girl. Now, before anyone say that Lyrical Nanoha did, I remind you that Hayate was not after she became a full magical girl. Togo, even in her magical girl form, still can't walk, being given guns as her weapon and her costume with ribbons that move her. As for her regular life, the chair she is confined to is ever present.
The next thing new came with ep 6. A hospital stay. After their climactic battle againt the remaining seven enemies, completing their term, the girls must get checked out. And what are the results, more new things. All the girls who used their super forms are showing side effects: Blind in one eye, lose of taste, lose of speech, lose of hearing in one ear. One for each girl.
With the big battle out of the way, I hope that there is more than a fall back to slice of life, and given what's happened so far, I think I should be fine.
