Gaara and Naruto wished each other good luck, and went to the girl's rooms.
Gaara with Sakura
Gaara knocked on her door and went in.
"So, you're the new one?" he heard a voice; it was so dark he couldn't see anything. He searched the walls for a light switch,"Don't even think about it. You turn that light on, you'll never see another day again." He didn't actually believe her threat, but he didn't want to provoke her. In her file, it stated once when someone turned a light on, she attacked them; they had to shove some fluid into her with a shot. He had the shot ready if he ever needed, but he'd rather not. He knew that shot, it was terrible; it makes you act like a zombie practically.
"Well, I can't see, so either we go outside, or the light goes on," Gaara stated.
She smirked,"Quite the forcefull one, aren't you? How old are you? You seem to be younger than the youngest they've sent."
"What's the youngest?"
"Twenty. So back to my question...How old are you?"
"Sixteen."
"Wow. They are getting desperate. Your friend's assigned to Hinata, right?" he nodded, "If he does anything to her, you won't ever see him again."
"I don't really mind, he annoys the hell outta' me," he smirked.
She giggled,"Pretty funny; you're weird, though.."
"What do you mean by that? You're the one who's afraid of the light," his smirk grew.
"Well, for one, you're the first person to read my file and not be afraid of me, and two, you haven't asked me a single thing about my past. All the others have asked and-Oh, now I see.."
"See what?"
"You've been in an insane asylum too, haven't you?"
"How can you tell?"
"Simple, psychologists think they need to ask and ask, and try to dig down deep, most people think that actually. So, only if you know what it's like would you talk the way you are talking," she analyzed.
"They were right, you are quite intelligent," he mused.
"Ya, I know," she smirked.
"So now, I think I'll do my way of getting information.."
"How is that?"
"Simple," he stopped his hand on the light switch,"Tell me why you're afraid of the light, otherwise I'll turn this light on."
She went wide-eyed; no one had ever dared threatening her, He's good..
"I dare you," she said, testing him.
"Alright, you asked for it," he turned the light switch on. Her eyes went even more wide. He finally got to see what she actually looked like finally. Luscious pink hair that reached her mid-back, pale skin, That proves she hasn't been in the sun; probably since Tsunade found her...Since she was on her bed, she couldn't tell how tall she was, but he already knew from the files. And then her eyes; her eyes were emerald, they looked like they had no soul, no life, no nothing. How is that possible? They look like a corpses eyes when they're opened... He took her fully in; her face was gorgeous! The most beautiful girl he's ever seen! Because he was so taken in by her beauty, he wasn't aware of her screaming till a minute later.
"Turn that thing off!" she screamed,"I'll tell you! Just turn it off!"
He turned the lights off; he heard her get off the bed, and walk towards him.
"C'mon," she said,"Since you can't see in the dark, we'll go to the main room. The lights aren't on, butyou can see everything. They made it like that justfor me."
They walked in silence down hallways. All throughout the walk, there were people gawking at them. At first, he didn't understand, but then he remembered that everyone was afraid of her. People get beat up if they're near her.
They arrived in another room, which had two people couches and one people couches in it. No one was there, except them; they each sat on a one person couch infront of each other.
"Alright, so why are you afraid of the light?"
She sighed,"I'm not gonna' give you great detail, got it?"
"Fair enough," he agreed.
"Alright, when I was younger, my father abused me in many ways, I'm not gonna' say how. He always had the light on, saying how much he wanted to see me be tortured and so how I could see him torturing me. He loved seeing me in pain, and he would take pictures of me when he was done torturing me; the camera always had a flash."
He understood now, it made perfect sense. He would definetely tell Tsunade this!
"Thanks for telling me," he said.
She had a bittersweet smile,"No problem."
"You okay?" he asked.
"Ya, just tire-" she fell asleep.
