    That's the same place I had read it after my science teacher showed me the poem...
    You're right, i think that was what the author was trying to accomplish, total opposites and perhaps a hint at the future outcome. Bella Swan turned to Jacob first (fire) and then the second time to the Cullen (Ice) so perhaps...

    i like Fire and Ice, i read his poem in the Twilight saga book, Eclipse. i think that was the whole point of Stephenie meyer to name one of the chapters Fire and Ice. Jacob Black was Fire and Edward Cullen was ice. i think...

    but when i read ur comment thats what i thought of

    I love Robert Frost! He's an amazing poet, clever of you to cite one of his poems.... Have you read the one about the Fire and Ice? That one's really good...

    i like this poem. i read robert frost's poems in english in tenth grade. they are so creative. i took it that he was talking about how mankind is greedy, and instead of enjoying and savoring beauty, we go after what is valuable and that will make us rich. which leads us to sin.

    thats what i got out of it xD

    i like it. i haven't thought about posting poems from other poets on my world for others to enjoy, i just put mine. hmm...i like what u did here. i'm gonna start putting a few poems from my favorite poets on mine too. thanks for the idea

    but yea, i like this poem. i could actually picture it and every thing ^_^
