I'm trying to think what else might be good, then. I used to be into Rick Riordan's books (lots of magic and mythology references) and there's also The Alchemist series.
Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
If you like cheerful endings, it's probably not the best idea to get into the Divergent series anyway. No spoilers, but there are ups and downs throughout, right up to the end.

Thank you! I'm sure I'll be better soon. The fever broke a while ago and I'm pretty sure the cold will go away soon.
There were a COUPLE things I wish would have followed the book better though. For example, there's Marcus Eaton's line "This is for your own good". It seems really significant and Veronica Roth used that line later on in the series, so I wish they'd kept that in the movie. Also, I feel that it was important that, in the simulation, Tris kills herself rather than killing her family. Still, the movie was quite good, and stuck to the book where it was important, so it didn't get ruined.
