I wouldn't describe straight alcohol isn't exactly sour or bitter, it just burns. Although a drink with alcohol mixed in might be sour or bitter. But yeah, it's pretty nasty. And coffee is just bitter.

A lot of people don't drink because they can't get around the taste. You don't like coffee; it's kind of like nuclear coffee. Or disinfectant.
