Yeah, that would be a fun way to make money. Though my life right now would probably bore other people senseless, but maybe when I feel less ill I can do more exciting things. (I don't know if I mentioned that my stomach's been acting up badly. I went gluten free and that helps a lot, but there are still problems that I'm working on fixing. It leaves me pretty tired out.)

Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
ASMR is a kind of weird thing, only a few people have it and I guess I'm one of those people. It stands for "autonomous sensory meridian response" and it's a sort of tingling, "fuzzy" feeling that starts in the head and makes its way down the spine and into the extremities.
Different individuals report that their ASMR response is triggered by a variety of stimuli (usually sound or sight, but I've heard some people can get it from smell or touch too.) The most common ASMR triggers are whispering, tapping/clicking noises, the sound of things being taken out of packaging (or 'unboxing'), and receiving personal attention.
(Those are just the common ones. I've met someone who gets ASMR from the sound of Tibetan singing bowls, and another person who says they've only experienced it when things get in close proximity to their forehead.)
It's usually pleasant and relaxing, although I've heard a rare few accounts of people becoming overwhelmed/experiencing seizures from it. Studies think it may be connected to seizures or epilepsy in some way, but there hasn't been enough research done to say that for sure. In fact, there's a lot of debate as to whether or not ASMR is real. (Although I've experienced it all my life, I can say for sure that it is real.)
There are a lot of Youtube videos made specifically to trigger ASMR. (Many them are really bizarre, too, often involving odd roleplays or scenarios. My favorite video is a kidnapping one. It's super creepy, but the girl plays the part well.)
I suppose I could blog about my life! Although most of that would be me taking a camera around my workplace.

True. But I'm a girl who doesn't usually wear makeup, and the unfortunate thing about society is that it tends to value a girl's appearance more than anything else. (Although tbh I can't think of any material I'd use to make quality videos, lol. I'd probably just rant at the camera a lot.)
I kinda have wanted to try making ASMR videos, but I'm not sure I'd be good at it.

Yeah, I'd do that too. Whenever I've put up works on any site, I try to respond to commenters, although I suppose people who are really popular on sites like Youtube can't be expected to respond to the thousands of comments a day they get. Although I don't really anticipate getting super famous on any site.

That definitely sounds interesting, I'll consider it! Sounds worthwhile, too.
The internship is in the Mayor's Office of Correspondence, so I think it involves a lot of looking over files and e-mails, finding answers to peoples' questions, and the like.

Maybe I could! I doubt I'd ever get that many views, but maybe.

Oh ok I'll go look for that. Yeah, a lot of people don't answer their youtube comments if they get a lot of them.

Yeah, I'm thinking it'll probably be something like that. Where did you meet them, by the way? Was it on DeviantArt or somewhere else?
