That sounds...crazy.
I cry over lots of stupid stuff too so I'm really amazed you have been able to deal with this all so well suika :)
Keep doing your best even when you feel down! uuuhhhh.....this sounds soo cheesy but I'm rooting for you<3
thanks for reading this haha.. I didn't mean to scare you.. ^^; obviously I'm on the more extreme side of things, and the people I'm involved with are those who do cons back to back like me. But really, most people don't do 20+ cons in a year, and don't usually get into the scuffles I described. ^^; in fact, casual AA artists often find AAs to be very friendly and encouraging :') since I was just venting I'm sorry if you thought AA is all negative lllorz
in any case, one is never prepared for a con, so you should just go for it!! If large cons intimidate you, start with small ones~ :) there's plenty of cons in n IL you can try! ^^ There's also the Artist Alley Network International group on fb that you can join. They have good advices on many subjects! :D

I read this whole post. It was really eye-opening. As someone who aspires to sell stuff at ACen and is never prepared for it I never realized that there could be so much pettiness involved. It actually scares me a little.
Despite the bad times, I really hope you're enjoying yourself with all these AAs. From looking at your Tumblr posts, it seems that you have tons of fans. That's something I can only dream of right now. I wish you the best of luck this coming con season. d(^-^)b
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!
