It may be too late to use this now, but kids with crutches got out of classes early so they didnt have to worry about other student traffic. That, and they could have a friend carry their bag to class too.
I dunno, I was always a little jealous of the kids who got to use crutches for a little bit of time. Seemed like they could be a little fun at the time.

When I played tennis in high school, I slipped on a ball and sprained my ankle. The next day I got it bandaged and decided that because the bandage stopped the pain, I did not need to use crutches. Then I got a big ass bruise on my ankle from all the crutchless walking I did.
Moral of the story: No matter how dumb an injury may be, there is always another level of dumb. :D

Ack! I hope it isn't a fracture, either. o3o *puts an icepack on it*
Reminds me of this one time at university. I was coming down the stairs after class and trying to stay ahead of the surge of people behind me, but I went just a bit to fast and started to fall. Fortunately I stayed upright, but my right foot hit the landing pretty hard and twisted a bit. Nothing felt busted so I continued walking back to my car and flopped on my bed, relaxing til my next class. When I got up again, my right ankle was in agony! >3< I must have twisted it enough and with the extra walking after that the reaction was delayed. I couldn't go to class and could only hop around on my other foot. Luckily my friend picked up some bandages and cream from the store for me and brought them over. ^^

@SomeGuy:
Haha, you'd be less jealous if you had to use them, I think. They're absolute hell on your shoulders.

Enjoy the life experience of it all, I suppose?
