It's a shame, some of the best titles aren't even mainstream. Of course, it's all very subjective. My friend and I always argue about the series we read/watch (we practically never find common ground haha) saying that we're "casuals" or watch "hipster anime" (whatever that really means). It's all very amusing at the same time.
One day... You'll find a good club and minions to follow you in your reign of otakuness
Until then you have the peeps on theotaku and whatnot :)
Ya I'm okay not joining it was just the blunt rudeness I encountered >.< I'm thinking if they don't have another club I might as a few people to start a new one (:
Surprisingly not, there's not too many people that i know that are into anime manga and all that stuff. But once i'm at a bigger university I'm sure I can find one that will fit my needs. And ya thats all they talk about literally >.< I get aggravated like i want to expand their horizon but at the same time i'm stingy with my anime titles lol
Right?!?! I mean I'm watching Tokyo Ghoul and reading it too. I'm not sure what's wrong with them but I'm pretty much ignoring everyone from that group
Sounds like a bunch of "know-it-all" brats to me, people that don't deserve your attention. You could always make your own (better) club.
I didn't really like the Anime Club at my school either since all they do is just sit and watch usually mainstream animes. I joined Comic and Manga Club instead and I love it much more. Maybe there's a club like that at your school too.
A rant is good every now and then. Better than keeping it all bottled up. May explode one day. Welp, hope you have a better day and see those... people... less.
No I completely agree with you!!! It so frustrating. The only time they walked up and tried to talk to me on their own (not them but some of their friends) is when I was wearing an attack on titan shirt. They only watched it on adult swim so when I mentioned the Manga they looked at me crazy. That's when I brought up Tokyo Ghoul and a few others and they just looked at me like I was dumb uuuuuuuuugh people >.< I really dislike them
I think that I would have snapped at the girls to be honest and completely showed them up with what I knew about anime and that they shouldn't even be considered leaders of a club like that. Also the fact that they talk about more then just anime they should change the name of the club. Sorry if that sounded mean. I don't like people like that.

That's so obnoxious why would you only watch the anime and not read the manga? I love to see the difference between the two.
