Long ago, a person with a hooded jacket was carrying a baby to a dreaded place called the Underworld. The person put down the baby and left. Hades, the King of Hell as you call it, picked up the baby and read the note. It said that the girl's name was Xenus and that someone should take care of her.
Hades looked at the child. Xenus had bright red hair and brown eyes. Hades smirked at the child. Finally a chance of world domination! Over the few years, Hades taught Xenus the power of earth fire. But one day, Hades decided to take Xenus to a villain's meeting. Xenus was four at the time.
"Who's that girl?" Maleficent asked Hades.
"She's my Daughter of the Underworld, Xenus." Hades answered. The witch cringed at the X in the name, but let it slide and talked about world domination.
"We have to stop Sora, Tai and my twin sister before it's too late." Maleficent explained.
"We need someone with talent..." Captain Hook said. Xenus tried to juggle some lava balls.
"We need someone with magic and skill..." Jafar gleamed. Xenus used a fire spell to hit a target. Everyone talked at once. Another villain covered his ears.
"We need someone to shut all of ya up!" The villain said annoyed. That stopped everything. Once the meeting was over, everyone left and forgot Xenus.
"Daddy, where are you?" Xenus called out. She walked to a portal to find Hades. But little did she know that she ended up in Halloween Town. But the trouble had just begun..
Three kids in Halloween costumes went up to Xenus. Xenus didn't notice them. The kids tied up her and threw her inside a walking bathtub.
"Where are we going?" Xenus asked the triplets.
"To go see Oogie Boogie of course!" A boy named Barrel laughed. Xenus wondered the sight of the big house before her.
"Who's that?" Xenus asked.
"He's the bogeyman in Halloween Town. Everyone is afraid of him." Lock explained, taking off his devil mask.
"And now he wants to see you!" Shock cheered. Xenus didn't understand this at all.
"Look guys, I only want to find my daddy OK?" Xenus was scared at first. All three laughed.
"You won't be finding anything where you are going." Lock said, holding a flashlight. In the playroom, Shock put Xenus in a cage and covered her with bugs.
"Are you sure you don't have the wrong person?" Xenus tried to convince the children.
"Nope!" They all yelled.
"This ain't fair!" Lock threw Xenus in a hole where it lead down below in the basement. Xenus fell into a platform. The room became dark and something glowed. Skeletons rattled in the darkness. Red dice was thrown on the floor. Bats from the rafters hummed a frightening melody. Snakes hissed, bugs crawled, stomps were heard.
"Well, look what we have here. A lovely girl!" A voice shot out. Xenus couldn't see a thing. She struggled in the cage, but couldn't get free. She saw the huge figure come closer to her. It was a large and brown sack monster. He opened the cage and let Xenus out of the small metal death trap. She watched him at all the bugs in the cage and then burped the cage back to where the playroom was.
"Um, who are you?" Xenus asked finally. The sack looked offended.
"Who am I? Who am I!?! Well Missy, I'm Oogie, the bogeyman here. What's your name?"
"Xenus..."
"Hey, that won't do at all! How about the name Akane?"
"Whoa, it's better than my other name." Akane smiled. Oogie picked up Akane and twirled her around.
"You have a great place, can I live with you instead of pops over there?" Akane thought about the Underworld.
"Well who's stopping' ya? Hades isn't that kinda great anyway. I'm sassy and Jazzy, he's calculating and cool. I torture, He confuses. I play poker, he plays chess! I'm glad to have you around. By the way, you can take this!" Oogie cackled, giving Akane his luckiest dice in the world.
