Ah, Hello my fabulous readers! Allow me to squint so that I may see you off in the distance!
I hope you enjoy reading it

its Friday

Ohayo/Konnichi wa/Konban wa, minna san!

Well, it is Friday the 29th of August.
I have today off of work for a special reason

That's right, the time has come again to spend money like I don't even have to earn it. Another convention in North Texas.

This weekend is Afest, less popular than A-kon (which is also held in Dallas), but perhaps the most fun con I go to yearly. Afest is a great attraction for the everyday otaku (especially because it is on a holiday weekend). There is a big dealer's room, a huge cosplay competition, and concerts... oh yeah, no concert this year. The budget is being pointed at cosplay this year, but that also means that next year's band should kick ass (the club admin says so). Anyway, I'm just squandering my time left before my Full Throttle wears off by typing this up.

I really need to get my draw on this time too, I haven't drawn anything in awhile... then again, no photoshop in awhile either... my hobbies are beginning to compete with each other.

I managed to buy The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Gundam Wing 1-25 (still needa find 26-end) with the help of a $25 Best Buy gift card, which honestly wasn't too much help.

(by the way, I'm quite out of it right now while typing this, so I need not explain further the odd quirks of my writing this late)

Also, the Otaku story is coming to a close and the name "Bound by You" was voted for the most (out of maybe 5 votes wasn't it?). Hopefully the story met with the ending that was prewritten so the dang thing wont be much longer than 80 pages. I've gotta edit it... so much missing punctuation... T-T so many structure flaws T-T... I don't look forward to them all very much.

In final news (my eyes are trying to close themselves without permission now) I've started my Japanese class and there are some things I can share... maybe a guest post on some sort of Japanese teaching page? Anyway, we've gone over aeuio for katakana and I've stumbled across some teaching aids, heck I'll even share my homework :D (that will have to be taken care of late on Monday if possible...)

well, all that's left is ikimasu
of course it's not sayonara (same as farewell [the "I may never see you again" kind of goodbye])
