what grade are you in now? Yea, i just find that even if your smart in hs, in university there is even more people who are just as smart as you trying to succeed. And with the Bell curve, everyone is fighting for marks against each other which makes it even harder. For me, my experience of failure drives me and causes me to try hard. Yea, not only do you need to know about your best, you also need to know your own limits. You gotta know what you can do better then other people and focus on it. Before i was pretty good in Science but i realize that science really isn't my forte and I know that i couldn't succeed as much as i wanted so i changed my focus and focused more towards something I know that i'm better at then most people. Of course this took a lot of time to realize and discover and i figure it would be the same for many people such as you. I'm sure that you will succeed. One of my friends told me this though and maybe this will help you in the future. Always aim for the stars because even if you fall you'll still stay in the sky.
Yeah, I can sympathize with your plight. I'm just like you too, always striving for academic excellence, and quite succeeding, but this year is just...I kinda lost my spark. I don't know why, but I'm not as vivacious as before. Maybe it's because I've failed many times even though I'm doing my best? (Math, I hate you!) I don't know...maybe "my best" isn't really "my best". I have to learn more about myself...

You know what you should do? And this will seriously help, too, I swear:
WATCH MORE ANIME OF COURSE.
