Yes you're right, I think anyday now we could have world peace. It is quite possible. Sometimes I forget to look for it but I know its there especially when I see somebody helping somebody or somebody has helped me unexpectedly. I just have to pay it forward.
You're welcome. ^^ And it's so sad how people don't really understand it. They see a portrayal of a counntry with faults and automatically assume that it's racist, while forgettimg that faults is an integral part of any personality. ^^
And yeah, I wish we could have world peace, too. The bright side, though, is that I think we're a lot closer to it in modern times than we have in the past. There are still a lot of good things going on. We just have to look for them.

Thank you soooo much for standing out and talking about Hetalia in a positive light. The anime/manga has been getting a lot of hate lately...and it is nice to see someone actually get it.
The point of the series is to see all the flaws all countries have...and how those flaws can bring us all closer together.
I read this essay and I'm truly inspired by it. I love how you explained the Hetalia characters are like the countries in the world today but with personalities and are accepting of one another.
I personally feel like a lot of people could benefit from watching this anime and others as well and that anime in general gives you a brighter view of the world and a more open mind. At least it does that for me.
I wish the world and people in general could learn how to be more accepting of one another and embrace the differences instead of hating them. So many people have died because of being different and it isn't right. I really want world peace and I'm not being cheesy. I dream of a world that loves everyone and is peaceful and accepting and loving. May not happen in my lifetime but weirder things have happened. And I hate the word racism being used in terms of different skin colors/cultures. We are all ONE race, the HUMAN race. Anyway just my two cents worth. :)
