Edit: Added Psycho-Pass 2
Plot Summary
Akane Tsunemori, decides to join the Public Safety Bureau, the police force who use the Sibyl system to analyze a person's Psycho-Pass (measured by your personality, anxiety level, mental health, etc.) and decide whether they are criminals or not. As Akane sees more and more of the world of crime, she must discover dark deep secrets about the world around her - both in the world of crime, and the world fighting it.
Story
The story is intense and rich. It takes a pretty good pacing, keeping you interested but not feeling rushed. It gives you time to let things sink in.
There aren't too many plot twists, and none of them are too particularly stunning, but there are enough intense moments to keep you on your seat throughout the whole thing.
9.1
Characters
Some of the main characters are developed well enough. You can feel their train of thought and you understand the bonds that tie them together.
However, they aren't completely ground-breaking and there are plenty of characters that end up taking the backseat.
8.4
Animation
The animation is smooth and sleek, adding to the futuristic feel. It also has a color scheme that compliments the dark emotions of the anime.
9.3
Music
Both openings and endings are incredible, though I do prefer the first ones.
The background soundtrack is pretty good, offering up its own amount of techno and intense soundtracks to keep you pumped, balanced with a couple of sad, smooth songs for the emotional parts.
8.9
Overall
Undoubtedly one of the best anime of 2013, Psycho-Pass has proven itself to be worthwhile. Despite imperfect characters, it has a great soundtrack as well as an intense plot to make sure that the watcher never gets bored.

Other
Like most people, from what I can tell from on here, Kagari is my favorite character.
The entire reason I started on this show was a face claim. A face claim.
Seriously, though. That intensity. I swear, that might have been the most intense and occasionally disturbing anime I have ever seen.
