theOtaku.com Anime Podcast VII - Ep. 13

That dude from that band The Darkness has a pretty decent soprano/falsetto. And then we talk about Mormons a little bit. Being this site, this amuses me. Also, Twilight fans may wanna steer clear of this one - that said, dude, did you guys actually read those or something?

Music - Errand by Faylan from Seikon no Qwaser

Caption Battle: Body Horror...

"It's that time again..."
"To learn what turning Japanese really means?"
"To count how many video games will have Nolan North in them this year?"
"No... it's time for this week's caption battle!"

But first, last week's winners:

In third place with dry, observational humour: Sakaki Sakura!

I am quite concerned by the fact that Guu appears to be eating a man's head. I'm more concerned, however, by the fact that Hare doesn't appear to have a large sweat-drop on the back of his head while observing this exact same scene...

In second place, playing on feelings we all had as children with smelly felts: mariomario!

The only reason why shampoo brands shouldn't make bacon scented products.

And in the coveted first place with a rare mostly non-sequitur caption... Allamorph!

Hey, at least she's not making racist jokes.

Fun times. And now since it's super late and I kinda wanna sleep now, let's get moving...

This week's screencap comes courtesy of Hisaishi and features the series Soul Eater. Torso on the left is Soul, torso on the right is Maka. Go for it:

You know the drill: type up the funniest, wittiest, most original caption you can think of for the screencap above in the comments below. Also, if any of you would like some tips on writing a great caption, you can find those here.

And like always, theOtaku is open to all submissions and suggestions for weekly feature content. You have a screencap you want used, you can PM me and we can do somethin' about it. So good luck, and remember: the world is a mess because of the adorable wrath of a six-year old witch in bloomers.*

*(This week's final words come shamelessly burgled from Hisaishi's PM. Just sayin'.)

theOtaku.com Anime Podcast VII - Ep. 12

I'll probably comment about this later. Must watch Monday night wrestling since the boys got this podcast into the can a day later than usual. That said, any other Monday, wrestling would be a non-issue. Go fig', I know.

Music - Uragiri no Yuuyake by Theatre Brook from Durarara!!
