Congratulations to the winners of the Quiz Slam, SRV and sasusaku 4ever, who teamed up to bring you the following quiz.

Caption Battle: Believe In Me Who Believes In You...

But first, last week's winners:

Usually Americans screw up Japanese shows.
This is the Japanese take on "Two and a Half Men"
In second place with a well-placed anime reference: mariomario!

And in the coveted first place with a brilliant reference older than history... or maybe just referencing Year One.. Erzengel Weiss!
And so father took son to a far far away land on a sacred mission. It was then when Isaac shouted, "Holy crap Dad, I got a better idea...sacrifice that!"
This was muuuuuuch better than last week. Thank you, guys. You've made an old man proud. But, since he called me out on my threat, I'll mention Flint's caption for Dug because it was just that good:
"I think now, looking back, we did not drag a house to a spot on a mountain via balloons. We dragged ourselves. And the house was us. The war is over for me now, but it will always be there with me, the rest of my days. As I am sure Carl will be, fighting with Muntz for what Kevin called 'possession of my soul'. There are times since, I've felt like a child, born of those two fathers. Be that as it may, those dogs who made it have an obligation to build again. To teach to other dogs what we know, and to try with what's left of our lives to find a goodness and meaning to this life."

Introducing A New Website

theOtaku.com now has a little brother! Please welcome it with love and attention. This is the first new website I've made in a really long time, like five years, so I have high hopes.
The site is dedicated to movies and expands on a popular meme: 100 Things I Learned. This is stage two of our beta launch. Stage one was assembling a super-team of our wittiest, most clever members to kick things off.
