Batou's on his own. Good luck, Batou. Also, Batou, Godwin's Law... damnit, dude, the heck's wrong with you?! Cute voices, though.

NYAF Top 10 Finalists
Pending a more formal post with, you know, links, here's a quick photo one of our members took of the top 10 NYAF finalists, on display at the New York Anime Festival cherry blossom festival booth over the weekend.
Congratulations and good luck to all finalists! In case you were wondering how the 10 were chosen, it was a simple process. theOtaku.com chose 10 finalists (to avoid questions of bias, I personally had no part in the selection). Del Rey Manga chose 10 finalists. Then the New York Anime Festival took our nominations into consideration, looked over every entry, and then chose the 10 that they liked best (it is their convention, after all).
Caption Battle: The Gunflex Total Gym...
"It's that time again..."
"To watch specialists stab ballistics gel?"
"To give life lemons?"
"No... it's time for this week's caption battle!"
But first, last week's winners:
In third place, simply speaking truth: darkeangel!
They are seriously running low on original ideas for new pokemon...
In second place, playing the continuity card: cougarsama!
Since Ed couldn't finish his dinner in last week's caption battle, they finished it for him.
And in the coveted first place, being fairly politically incorrect but I'll let it slide this time 'cause it made me snerk... red.alchemist!
Japanese women in their natural habitat.
This was a pretty good week. Good stuff, guys.
Moving on... we'll go with a screencap courtesy of xaos featuring good ol' Dragonball Z back when it was still an animated show. Guy on the right is Gohan (as "The Great Saiyaman"); guy on the left is less important - we'll say his name is Ovechkin. Have fun:
You know the drill: type up the funniest, wittiest, most original caption you can think of for the screencap above in the comments below. Also, if any of you would like some tips on writing a great caption, you can find those here.
And like always, theOtaku is open to all submissions and suggestions for weekly feature content. You have a screencap you want used, you can PM me and we can do somethin' about it. So have at it, and remember: Roberto Luongo doesn't wear a 'C', but he is the captain.
