I'm not supposed to type this comment as well, but anyway...
Is there a chance that the next podcast will talk about the new first lady of Japan (Yukio Hatoyama's wife) and all the really crazy stuff that has been attributed to her lately?

I don't really like the whole whaling thing, but I really don't know all too much about it, so I can't really say anything. I had no idea about dolphin hunting! It sounds terrible. But if people end up in the hospital from eating them, why do they continue to eat them? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
Yeah, Nehs is a girl lol.
G.I. Joe!
Meh, that whole video game study is stupid in my opinion. My friends and I play video games all the time and not a single one of us is depressed, overly shy, or overweight. And darn it, I was going to make a joke about people in Seattle having to deal with all the rabid Twilight fangirls coming there to look for the Cullens, so maybe that would add to their depression, but then I remembered that the book is set in Washington. Bummer.
The Beast of Yucca Flats was terrible! But the ending, the credits actually, was hilarious, so that made up for most of the movie. Kinda.
I really need to catch up on the podcasts on your site. I'm months and months behind. And I just keep putting it off! I hope I'll get caught up again soon!
Good podcast Ichigo! Keep up the awesome work! :D

Oh, and thank you very much for the breakdown of Japanese political parties. I used your explanation when talking with my uncle the other day and he thought I was making stuff up about the Happiness Realization Party. XD He was thoroughly amused once he realized I was serious.

The MST3K shorts mentioned as coming up are some of the funniest; I love 'A Date With Your Family'. Ah, the repression of the '50s, followed by the heavy drug culture of the '60s and 70s.
Maybe next week it'll be longer. I think without Batou there to add his snarkiness it doesn't take so long to discuss some things.
I'm not supposed to be doing this due to school priorities, but nevertheless...
Heh, sorry if I was the one who got to post it. I have that special auto-submit privilege for news, and I guess the news editor wasn't present to approve your piece. So, peace man.
I decided to post the news a day later, since I was waiting for the official results of the election (which I never really acquired anyway). Also, I used ANN since it has more anime-related info regarding the news.
Never really imagined that Japanese politics can be pretty interesting as well.
By the way, is there any news on how the Kindaichi manga artist Fumiya Sato did in the legislative election? I believe he was running under the Happy Science organization.

Ichigo Solo.
I suppose if they were to keep themselves within a regulated amount of whales then I would be OK with it, although now that you say most people wouldn't be behind the whaling if they knew, I'd prefer to see that happen. What do they even use the whales for anyway? What bothers me is that they do whale more than they should and lie about their intentions. And bloody hell, I never knew anything about the dolphin hunting. That sounds horrendous.
Nope, Nehszriah's a girl.
Tough choice there in the election... I'll go with the guy from the political elite family who was educated at Stanford.
No, Date With Your Family doesn't involve a dad with a shotgun, it teaches you how to enjoy a nice evening at home having dinner with your family in a pleasant, unemotional atmosphere. Gotta love the '50s.
Dress To Kill is definitely my favorite Eddie Izzard show. I really need to find his stuff on DVD.
The ONLY way to watch Twilight is with Rifftrax. I'm pretty sure serious brain damage can occur if you watch it without the commentary.

You mean the Happiness Realization Party, or the Japan Smile Party. Those were the two odd (more than the rest at least) parties.
Thanks,

Male dolphins tend to kidnap females and form army-sized pods that look like they're going off to war. Kind of makes you wonder what Flipper's plotting, eh? Doesn't stop 'em from being creepily cute and playful though.

Good looks yes, but more on intelligence. Who ever heard of a tuna saving a shipwreck victim?
