Which means it's probably some option like setting the text color for one's world posts. :p Only in this case for one's comments since it seems to have literally changed every single comment you've ever made.

Guys... Adam is mischievous and loves to pull pranks. :p He is 100% (and then some) responsible for the cupcakes and the text color, of that I am positive. Just like the cupcakes... it's all Adam's fault. :p
The fact that there are cupcakes in the PM section somehow support my "celebration" theory.
But somehow, it also supports my "revolution" theory since the PM section of myOtaku is just a link to theOtaku page. This might mean that they want the PM section to be located in myOtaku.com and not on a separate theOtaku.com page.
Again, if I offended anyone through my analysis, then I deeply apologize.
You know, I'm actually quite concerned about the whole cupcake invasion. But just let me say my thoughts on this:
Cupcakes, particularly those with the pink icings, seem to be representative of a particular type of celebration. Now, it can't be Mr. Adam's birthday since it was on the 30th of April. It can't also be the anniversary of theOtaku since it's still on August. The only thing I can think of is the myOtaku integration that occured a few days ago.
Based on what I've seen in the comment box of Mr. Adam's myOtaku page, a lot of myOtaku members were outraged (and I mean outraged) by the separation of theOtaku and myOtaku a few months ago. We also know that some myOtaku members have opted to stay in myOtaku instead of moving on in the Worlds.
Recently, Mr. Adam had just made the link between myOtaku and theOtaku through the backroom and the portfolio. Also, he brought back the PM feature in myOtaku. From what I've read in the said comment box, a lot of the myOtaku loyalists were actually very happy with the development. And when you're happy, you tend to want to celebrate. Thus, the connection to the cupcake comes into place.
It could be also representative of other things. It could be a peace offering from the myOtaku community to Adam. It could also be a love gift for bringing back the features in myOtaku.
However, the fact that Adam's comments have been placed in pink-colored typography, my theory of the "cupcakes of celebration" may be wrong. My guess for this is that the myOtaku community might want to have their comments section improved because, if you check out their comment box, it is quite unattractive compared to the one we have in theOtaku. If not, they might continue what I see from this point "a non-violent cupcake revolution" in myOtaku and take Adam's comments as "hostage".
I remember back when I had a real-life misunderstanding with myOtaku member and real-life friend Blue Hawk. When we got to patch things up, she said that as repentance for my mistakes, she'll change the theme of my myOtaku site into a pink theme. (It didn't really happen, though). This makes me think that the "revolution" theory is possible. (By the way, I don't think Blue Hawk is the one behind this because she is very much busy with her college life and her relationships. Plus, I don't think she's capable of doing such an act, since she's not that much of a computer genius and her college course is a non-computer related course, B.S. Pharmacy.)
Next, the cupcakes.html file. The fact that it was an HTML file, as opposed to the PHP files being used in the site, is quite interesting. Again, it gets my attention to the myOtaku community, where HTML is freely used for their pages unlike here in theOtaku. The fact that it has no < HTML >, < HEAD > ,and < BODY > tags makes me think that this is a sign that a myOtaku member did this, since we don't use such tags in editing the introduction in our myOtaku page.
And the heading of said HTML page. "The cupcakes are coming..." This makes me think of the "revolution" theory I mentioned a while ago.
Now, I'm not painting a bad picture of myOtaku right now, since I'm also a member of the said community. It's just my hunches. So, if I offended anyone through my analysis, then I deeply apologize.
At least its not a completely ugly shade of pink, wonder if it shall affect the other staff members sometime! No ones recently given birth to a little girl or something have they? Hope you get it sorted sometime though would be nice to know what it all really means!
That color is evil! I still think it's some chock with something to do with you or any other TheO team member who was in on it. Hmmm. I'm on to your scheme. -_-
