I nominate Presea's Tales Update World. I'm not sure how many Tales fans are on this site exactly, but she does an excellent job keeping updates on all the games' activity. She updates pretty often too.

I'm beginning to think that some of the members here don't understand the concept of paying attention to guidelines or instructions. Shameless self promotion does not = Frequent updates or Overall quality. And two days doesn't even come close to reliability. lol
Personally I think it would be better if something can't be nominated unless it's been around for at least a month or two. Though that's the impression I was getting from the basic guidelines given here anyway.
Well, I believe that some posts in this--for now?--hypothetical beta-reader World could be easily used to point out some of the basics of grammar and spelling. Perhaps a paragraph can be broken down into its components so that some can see how sentences tend to go wrong:
e.g., "The car among the other cars are blue." (the plural verb are doesn't agree with the singular subject car. This common confusion may be the result of having the verb close to the plural cars, which is the object of the preposition among.) Some may choose to get super-grammatical on everyone! e.g., "Logic confuses me." (This subject-verb-object sentence pattern isn't the typical all-purpose construction; only some constituents can be used with this verb, which "transfers" a sensation in a specific direction. In this case, the confusion "transfers" from the subject logic to the object me. Additionally, we cannot say, "I confuse logic", for that makes little sense. We can, however, say it in certain contexts if we want to be a little crazy ourselves! We may want to mention the case of the pronoun me, which is in the objective case, compared to the odd sentence where the pronoun I is in the nominative case.)
Before I get carried away (too late?!), this is one suggestion of how some posts in this beta-reader World may look. From there, the potential writer can choose who she/he wants to approach for help.
You know I completely misunderstood what this was about my fault.Well, then I nominate the contests world and this appreciation world sounds fine and dandy to me.
This reminds me of Society of Otaku Article Producers (SOAP). Maybe the members of this group should revive the organization.... Hey wait! I'm a member of that group!
As for nominations, I'll have to agree with the Contests world being nominated. I would have nominated bellpickle's Only in Asia world, but I guess it got disqualified because of #1. I guess I'll have to give mor eguest posts in it.

How about a world for the writers of TheO. A place where the writers and learning writers can get together and toss ideas around. A place for help for correct writing and grammar. A place to learn the how to's and what not's for writing on the web. With all the writers in TheO I think a world like that would be great for them.
Hmmmmm.....
Perhaps I could play around with one of my worlds until it is worthy of promotion. Seriously, the Marcus Wolfe Timeline is great if you want an alternate timeline to base Naruto fanfiction on.
Hey, if people would like it I'd like to nominate my Streetfighting in the World world, I put guides on how to use characters in the various games, backstory, fan-fiction from me and guest posters and even some general martial arts essays and stuff. I've really wanted it to be nominated if it does I swear I'll work hard on it.

And thanks to all three of you for bringing this up - something I should have thought about far sooner than now.
As for Worlds to promote . . . nothing really stands out for me that hasn't already been mentioned just yet; give me another month or so.

I nominate any world that exists solely to provide information on upcoming conventions/festivals. Especially in Canada.

That would be nice to see a World for the beta readers. There should be some sort of unity among them, instead of being limited to a post.
