Batou will certainly be missed. Maybe Ichigo could have a few of his stuffed seal friends on the show, ? Or maybe he could do an entire show naked, not informing us of this, but opting instead to drop a copious amount of terrible puns about it?

Oh geez, I don't listen for two weeks and come back to find this. That certainly sucks, haha. But I totally understand. Gotta do what you've gotta do. I'm certainly going to miss the dynamic duo, but I wish you the best of luck and hope to hear you back here not too long from now!
The Doctor Who chat is definitely a lot of fun. It's great how the new episode comes out on the web Saturday afternoon, and then we get to watch an episode on TV later that evening. A great way to spend my Saturdays if you ask me XP

The next step in the viking evolution are colonists, able to wipe out civilizations with foreign plagues and make munnies too. Then it's only a small stretch to entrepreneur and then to C.E.O.s. Who are able to foreclose on homes and leave countless homeless with one hand and receive national bailouts with the other, while strapped into a golden parachute. Thus screwing everybody, they are the true scourge of mankind.
Anyway I look forward to listening to the you next week, later doods.

Wow, that is a big announcement. I know how burn-out feels though, so it's understandable. If you have too many things going on, one thing has to be sacrificed. Hope the sabbatical doesn't last too terribly long, though.
Pokemon, American Edition. Bushimon, Cheneymon, Reaganmon... he can tear down walls.
I agree, Vikings are way scarier than either Pirates or Ninjas. The phrase "berserker" comes to mind.

I'd be afraid of giant naked guys wearing blue body paint too . . . unless they were hot. Ninjas aren't scary though; you just maybe jump a little when they sneak up on you. And who the heck is scared of pirates now; say 'pirate' and pretty much what most of the world pictures is a rum-soused guy with fake dreads strutting around. Not scary.
So Shonen Jump is going the Disney way out? They can't get anything really good and original for the most part so they want to revamp old stuff with side-stories? Is that the case or am I misunderstanding that? Maybe if these sideshots aren't any good, they'll be the ones we can use for fertilizer.
