I'm not sure why you are getting hung up on the dictionary thing. Yea, it is annoying that they are adding dumb portmanteaus like "bromance" but being able to add words like otaku and hikikomori is one of the great things about English. It is constantly evolving. Shoot, about 40% of the English language was ripped from French. i.e. Coup de Tat.
I'm also not completely with you on the eCard thing ether. When I joined this site, I was under the impression that, regardless of its intended function, eCards were mostly used to make jokes that could easily be shared with online friends. I've even gotten a comment saying that I should "make more funny cards".
Anyway great show. And I'm sorry if I tend to be a bit long-winded.
I don't care for the grief you gave me, it was funny. And Gaia Online has a huge button that enticed me to join. Totoro is awesome, you will never find a cat/racoon god thing that knows how to have fun while doing it's jobs.

I want to strangle teenagers who walk on my lawn.
For one last try, the term "Britaboo" is a joke that I made up for Sangome to use in a story. She despairs a bit on those of us who like our British things and gush about them while she's around in Chat, but I think she came up with something a bit different then. In the story, she had to be with our group, which lead to her calling us that because I couldn't think of the real term she used.
So Yeah.
And even though TC typed it out first, I listened to it first, so yeah, I posted up the Rex clip (c'mon Ichigo you commented on it!). TC did post up the NCIS one (and yes, it is "N-C-I-S", not "nsis", though I did lawl at that), which is also worthwhile. I had a hard time not laughing when you did the "dead naked people" bit.
My friend had the same reaction to "Teen-Age Strangler" as you did. Once they found out it was the teenagers being killed, not a teenager killing, they were also disappointed. Ah well.

Traditional Japanese dancing sounds really fun; wish I could try it. But I look like a dork doing American line dances so maybe I wouldn't look too cool.
The Japanese are so cool coming up with giant statues of anime critters and such; we'd never be able to get away with that. We prefer to generate webshrines and such. And the giant Hello Kitty would definitely take the giant Gundam; Hello Kitty's got age and experience on its' side.
I just think that with some e-cards, people need to check their spelling and grammar. That's what'd bug me.
Go Timechaser with the Labyrinth reference; that movie is awesome. Love David Bowie!

Not it!
Wow, voice actors being real people with real lives and real problems and personalities and flaws... It's simply impossible to fathom. Yeah, some people are just a bit too far toward creeper when they become that obsessed with someone that it crushes their entire world to see who these people really are.
Is that when you read the Coldfire Trilogy? Hanging out in the scifi section of your local library?
Thirty ft. statue of Hello Kitty... That would be cool only if it did battle with a Gundam statue. I want Gundam to win.
Oxford Dictionary of English also has Dalek in it, I believe. Just throwing that out there for the sake of randomness.
Yeah, David is trying to be American and sadly failing at it. Which is maybe one reason the show never got picked up. And Katana was actually the one who posted the clip (before she hears this later and corrects you herself).
I'm guessing you've never seen NCIS. The humor in the head-slapping bit is because Gibbs, the team leader, does that to people if they're being juvenile or whatever. But yeah, love that clip. Heh.

Ah yes, the e-cards that don't really seem to be appropriate to any particular occasion. Made a few of those myself. I think people just find a cool picture, think of some phrase that fits it, and make it into a card. It never really enters into their mind that a card is essentially meant to be sent to someone for some reason. Eh. *shrugs*
Exactly. I see a guy in a cape, with long hair... David Bowie in Labyrinth automatically leaps to mind. No escaping it.

This is kinda' show-related, Ichigo, but it's from a couple weeks ago:
Remember how I recieved mail for high school football?
Well, I looked at my schedule, and it showed "Varsity Choir", and I'm like, "How can I-I signed up for 9th-10!?!"
It turns out that I was put into the school's system as a guy.
Wow...Whoever couldn't read a circled "F"...
All's I can say is: Wow...

Sometimes I make ecards that wouldn't make sense to send to someone-but I've entered those it contests, so maybe that's why?
People seriously dispose of stuff that is worth hundreds of dollars? Like you said, I guess some people are just that obsessed!
Being a teen myself, I personally love to read. Man, if my library had fancy chairs...
See ya next week, Ichigo!

Yeah....it's definitely better if the people that don't get that joke don't look it up. Google does not look kindly upon that particular search.
As far as the eCards go, I think the original intent behind them fell off a bit here recently. We still get useful ones, but yeah.... > >
(Also, Giant Hello Kitty vs. Gundam may bring about Japan's destruction. But that'd be awesome to watch. Just saying.)

For the record, I totally didn't forget the caption battle last week.
It was a con weekend. I went out of my way to be too busy to do it. It happens.
