The 3 way banter is really refreshing and sounds like you all had a lot of fun, good times good times.
Thanks for answering some of my questions and catching the One Piece reference. I got stated watching 80's anime on my dad's laser-discs and VHS's, and grew up with 90's anime on TV. I din't think any of it was from Japan until I got hooked on Fullmetal Alchemist and tried to figure out the theme song. I blame my slowness on good dubs and my dial-up connection.
The audio quality was fine, the signal only dipped out a couple of times. At least there weren't any deafening audio spikes, like the ones from the first episodes of a certain manga related pulse show.
Thanks again and I look forward to another group show some day.

Wierd. I'm watching Doctor Who on Syfy right now! I love Miyazaki movies. I rented Spirited Away yesterday, it is still great. I have a question, what is with the tree that has a rope wrapped around it? Wikipedia says it has something to do with the god Amaterasu, but that's all I know.
woooooooooow! that was an amazing podcast XDD i love the team that was there XD there hasn't been a really good 3 person team since a few years ago! i'm really hopeful that i'll be hearing you three again in the future and i'd just like to say that the long show made it extremely enjoyable, especially with the Detroit metal city review! i'd love to hear more of them, maybe get ideas of new anime to watch XD cant wait for the next equally awesome show and good luck trying to get the team together for more of the show =p

Holy damn, this is so long! I have patience issues, people. You can't be offering me up a who-knows-how-many-hours podcast episode. I'm gonna have to finish the last third of it tomorrow, good grief.
That being said, I thought your discussion (so far) on the bill was really interesting and possibly the best explanation I've gotten on just what the bill really says. I've read a couple articles on ANN and stuff, but yeah, Ichigo's explanation made it much clearer. So thank you for that. :P
Oh I remember that, and it was tons of fun. Actually, Batou and I recorded a thing the year after as well that he never ended up using - I remember explicitly asking if I could do the "If you like listening to us..." line at the end.
Im with Chaser, Id prefer to be in a Shonen action world rather than a harem. Because most guys in harem series are like Tenshi or Keitaro, just pussies who cant make up their mind.
Give me energy beams, flying, training montages, and power ups while screaming "HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" Because look at Goku, he found romance, after all. And he is an idiot.
You already did. It was a Sakura-con episode, the one where Batou went missing. If I can remember that episode, you should be able to. But if you con persuade Ichigo to be in the show, Id also like to be involved. Would be one hell of an experience.

I'd probably rather be in a shojo show, though if I had to be one of the drippy girls in the harem, I wouldn't abuse the guy in my pursuit of him; seriously, do too much damage and when you get him, he'll be too broken to play with.
Yeah, I saw a couple episodes of Voltron and Transformers as a kid and that got me on the road of anime, but I never started going anywhere with it till I lived in Korea in middle/high school and Slayers started. Now I can't stop.
When buying stuff these days, I mostly try to find it used so it's a little cheaper than normal. For new stuff, it's off to the internet.
Apologizing in advance for my behaviors, like blowing out the microphone and going through my "dying comedian" stage by laughing at everything I did. Nerves, y'know.

So, because of all the DMC talk, I went and watched it. I find myself amazed that I could be both offended yet so entertained at the same time.

@Katana:
I got a vivid imagination.
Also I think I wanted it to be butch so that when he talked geek and if he mentione his Marimite fandom, it'd be a bit funnier.

Uawww. I thought you did find lasting that long.
I also really came into anime around the whole Toonomi block, though I did have Scifi Saturday mornings and eventually nights to broaden my tastes.
You sounded younger than I thought you would. I always pegged you with a more butch voice.
