Both you and Mew Mokuba need to pay attention instead of jumping to conclusions. Premium service is common for many sites. Grow up kiddies. The free accounts are not disappearing. So you're getting upset over nothing.
Try re-reading all the updates on the premium service, like DeviantART the free side will still exist. Premium is only for people to gain extra stuff on top of what you already get as a free member. I don't know where you got the idea that it was turning into a pay only site. So get your facts straight before you get all worked up over nothing.
I’m with Mew Mokuba all the way! This whole new membership idea is a bunch of BS! I’ve been a member of theOtaku since January of 2004, and I’ve never heard of anything so ridiculous! Well, I guess you’re not going to go back on the old ways anytime soon so I guess that just pisses members like me who have been here forever and those senior and otaku legends.
I liked the old way with no limits and how myOtaku was the big thing! You changed it so much and it’s really not what I was expecting I’m very sad to see. Well, I don’t have a choice but to not put up my popular work I do for contests or anything like that for support anymore. If you want to make us happy, just go back to the old layout.

But now, now it seems you want to not only turn this into a site that if you don't spend a month or so one one wallpaper and get it into perfection it'll be rejected but soon will turn into another boomspeed. It's free all together and then suddenly wham! You're a pay only site! One of the best privileges to this site was when you became a senior otaku or above and you were no longer restricted! At first we wanted to believe that the reason for the limit was for the sites stability's. Now it's just to piss everyone off so you can become a pay only site. I hate it that we're being forced out! I loved this site! I even liked the addition of worlds but since it seems you hate us and want to be a pay site I guess sadly we have to find a new site!
