Yay! New Catagories. =]
Happy dance time! Wooh!
Can you add in Bokura ga Ita to the anime catagory next if you get the chance? I already spotted a few fanarts for the the anime. :)
Keep up the great work.
Okay, okay, here's a question concerning one of the other games in the series: If there were to be a section on Tales of Eternia (called Tales of Destiny II in North America), which name would it be placed under?
I usually go by the release name given to a show when it hits the US. Sometimes they get the Japanese name, it just depends on what I find when I research the game in question.
EDIT: I forgot to put my reason for asking. See, in Japan, there was an actual Tales of Destiny 2 released later, so that could cause problems with people putting stuff in the wrong section.
Not really, if they are separate games it's easy to put something like this on it: Tales of Destiny 2 (something here to indicate it's a separate game) Plus people already put things in the wrong category.
There are many reasons for this: One, they chose the wrong title in the drop down menu. Two, they don't realize the submission has a category. Three, a new category was made, but since it had no tags, it was not moved over when the new one was made.
In addition to doing categories I move any stray submission I find to the correct spot. We also have a moderator who spends time each day checking different categories for misplaced submissions. So that's not an issue either if you think about it.
How? Honestly, that makes no sense at all. Based on what I've seen, it's not the first time a series was split up either, for example the Final Fantasy series. So just how does this make it harder for you? Because I don't understand where you are coming from.
EDIT: I have both Tales of Symphonia and Tales of the Abyss. That makes it pretty easy to know I'm moving the right ones. ^_~

I plan on it Sangome, but this requires me moving them manually, so I started with two since It will take me several days to finish the process. I plan on getting to the others in due time.
Please, pleeease change it back. As Timber said, separating the Tales series is pretty much fail because if you give Symphonia and Abyss their own sections, then you pretty much have to give one to Phantasia, Destiny and Destiny 2, Eternia, Rebirth, Legendia, Tempest, Innocence, Vesperia, Hearts, and so on, and the fanbase is pretty small in comparison to others.
And why not? Quite a few categories have nothing more than a few submissions, so this is no different. If there is a fan base for it, why should someone have to wade through hundreds of submissions just to find one? Not everyone properly tags things when they post them.
EDIT: And if you keep it as such, leave mine as they are, or I'll delete them. I swear I will.
Don't you think you're being a bit childish with that? I’m sorry, but denying people their requests for categories is what would really be unfair.
...So we're back to Tales games having separate categories again? (Used to be ToS had a category, and other Tales went in "Other Video Games")
That would have been before I joined, so I couldn't say.
Separating Tales series = FAIL.
Keeping them all in one category worked really well, and it made sense since outside of Japan the series doesn't have that big of a following... Can't we just keep it that way? Please?
No the real fail would be to deny people's requests for seperate categories just because a few disagree. I've been getting request for this for over a month now. Upon looking into it and seeing that between the wallpapers, e-cards and fan art there is nearly 1,000 submissions in that section, I felt the request was more than reasonable. So since that was more than enough for them to be on their own, I began the process today. After all, a show/game/artist only has to have one submission to qualify for it's own category.

I recommend subsections for "Choujuu Kishin Dancougar" and "Juusou Kikou Dancouga Nova" in the Anime/Manga section of this website.

Oh, Sabrina, we need a "Legion of Superheroes" category in TV. blackwings has written a couple stories for that cartoon-based-on-a-comic.

Anyway, good work Sabrina. ^_^ I find it amusing that we have a Terminator category now. I should make a "I'll be back" e-card. XD

And here I remember how much people WHINED AND COMPLAINED when the Tales series was turned into a "general" category.
*falls over laughing*
I for one am glad to see it, that section was starting to get huge since both Symphonia and Abyss have become a lot more popular.
