(Late comment is late.)
Is that why everyone fought over Texas way back when? Cause Fate was there?
That explains a lot.
I haven't actually watched the trailer yet, but... jeez, already doesn't look good just from the thumbnail of the bloody thing.
See, this is what happens when Hollywood gets their hands on stuff. It turns to crap.
I will kill someone if Keanu ever plays Spike. Just sayin' now.
In general, a live action Cowboy Bebop does not sound good to me. There's a reason it was animated, people.
Again, I point to what they have done to Dragonball. Do you want that to happen to Cowboy Bebop?
I didn't think so.
I'm gonna be picky and say that 4koma should be pronounced "yonkoma", it being a Japanese thing and all.
And damn, this comment is getting too long. Unless something good comes up, no more from me.
... wait, Ichigo has students?
Pssssh, all my friends like anime already. What would be more relevant is "Get your parents into anime", cause I'm working on my dad right now.
On the squirrel bit. I'll say that I haven't seen a single squirrel here in the 6 months I've been here. It's very odd. I know they exist, just aren't very common anywhere near civilization apparently. Might be some of the cause for the sqee factor.
- Sam Jackson is a bit too BAMF for that role, lol. Besides, he doesn't have that same sort of imposing figure that Jet does when he walks into a room. Sam's a great actor and probably one of the best of the 20th Century that's still kicking, but nah. Bruce would probably be a better choice.
As far as Keanu goes... I made the majority of my comments about that back at the original post, so I won't go into it here. But you also have to take into account that while the movie may only cover the first episode, any director that's actually watched the anime all the way through is going to want to hop on the Julia Angst Train at one point in time at the least. And we all know what happens when Keanu tries to do drama.
- I was also confused about the whole 24 4-Koma thing, but hey, it's Japan: Land of the Weird, Home of the Strange. If anyone can do it, it's them.
- The Dragonball trailer brought on a good fit of Brooklyn Rage on my end for a second. During the first few seconds of it, I honestly went "Heroes?" because of the opening shot.
Anyway, just from what I've seen, it already looks like it's going to be far and away from the series. Truth be told, it looks like one of those old Chinese kung-fu movies cast with Americans and one random Japanese guy, but hey, some of those old Chinese kung-fu movies were good (Yay, Legend of Drunken Master), so I won't insult them by comparing them to what is likely to be yet another entry on the "Anime to Live-Action List of EPIC FAIL".
- I've also noticed that thing with the scarves. All the Japanese transfer kids at my college always wore scarves when they were there. Then again, they also traveled in packs and chased squirrels, so I suppose it shouldn't be that odd. (Honestly, show a Japanese person a squirrel and they'll freak. It's spectacular. "RISU!! RISU!!")
Good show this week, guys. And I vote for Tim to take the long-vacant third co-host position. Because he's awesome.
(We'll miss you, Ichigo! Don't fall in with the mob!)

This might be a departure from normal, and far from kannon(sp?). But what I think might be a good Jet Black, and this goes to a April Fool's prank: Samuel L Jackson. I think he would do a good job as Jet.
:o! Ichigo you betray me...... I don't think Neo can do it :
and as far as acting. what about the switch from joking to pure angry and hate (when he is mistaken for Vicious)and as far as Faye :P i hate J-lo but she did play Selena and Selena had quite the back (RIP)
and I did mention a waffle stomp in my caption for last battle
P.S. I Love This Show

Try to keep from the Twilight references, please? If I hear another thing about Twilight I'm going to die . . .
Fate's in Texas? I never knew that! lol
With <3,
PS: I'm probably going to show this show to my friend Eric

Hmm, Bruce Willis as Jet; I think I'd rather see that than Keanu as Spike. And the red-eye episode is the first one and therefore doesn't include Ein, but it'd be nice to have the cute little dog in there all the same. As for the DBZ movie, I'm not a fan and feel no need to pass judgement. But a guy in my anime club is a strong DBZ fan, so if he seems rather weepy next time I see him, I'll know why. Emo guys seem the fashion these days, at least in non-comedy movies. (And you guys nearly fell into refrencing 'Twilight' again; shame on you.)

I don't really like the idea of a Cowboy Bebop live-action. The very idea just feels wrong to me. I mean maybe it would be OK, but it was already perfect to begin with. Some things are just best left in the realm of animation.
I was around in the days when theOtaku.com podcast included Ichigo, Batou, and Chigo. ...Ah, the good ol' days. I miss those days. I use to laugh my ass off at their podcasts, especially at Batou, but now...It's just...*sigh* I'm sorry guys, i know you're trying, but its just not the same anymore. It's like when Nightwish lost Tarja, and brought in Anette Olsen. It's just not the same.

All the Japanese people I met tell me they don't have squirrels in Japan. The only time they see them is at the zoo.
And the fact that squirrels are in zoos in actual cages (and not just randomly running around) is hilarious to me.

YES!! TEXAS JOKES (I'm a Texan, unfortunately)!!!! Texas does have some interesting town names but sadly there is no Karma.
The DragonBall movie is going to be a stinker (stinker is a nice way of putting it).
...your Welsh Corgi? [/Keanu]
That's my only output for Keanu.
I can see Jason Statham (Transporter and Italian Job) playing as Jet.
I beat up trees. >_>

I guess as long as they don't butcher it.
I always did like the animated version of the Hobbit, although by current standards the animation is ancient.

Hey, Lord of the Rings was pretty perfect too back when it was still just a book.
Ironically, remember what happened when they dedicated that to animation? Not that it was bad, but . . .
