I see no one came to defend the good name of Tuxedo Kamen.
Batou, he wasn't suppose to do much. Its a Girls anime if you had him going in and kicking more but then the scout that would defeat the purpose of making them the main characters. Ichigo's comparison to the outer senshi was the better one :/
so much trust destroyed :p
Also i was quite amused at Ichigo's singing he should do that more often
"TheOtaku.com podcast Karaoke Edition" i would be so down.
Wow, the show this week was LONG. Lol, not that I mind. I looked up the Japanese Numa Numa on Youtube.... I do not know what to say. Cool? Wierd? Funny? I really don't know what the word is for it... but all I could think of was this---> O~O
Then I burst out laughing after seeing it again, lol. Figure that out, lol. I then looked up all the possible Numa Numas to find: Hebrew, Chinese, and Korean. lol.

Because I enjoy pointing out when people screw up, episode 14's song was the song Can't Beat Airman. This of course, a reference to Airman in Megaman, who for some reason angers casual gamers to no end due to his difficulty. So yes, Batou fails.
I enjoy the fact that I was given an Philly-Italian accent, Ichigo. Arigato!
Oh man, Adam's going to kill you. Not only did curse like a sailor with Team America: World Police, Ichigo, but now I have the urge to blackmail a certain Bossman with pictures of him showing off Monster (and a couple of him at the company Christmas party). Don't ask me how I got them.
Plus, you guys are the best Sailors to me. Though I don't know who would be Chibi-moon.
Finally, I second the anti-Rozen Maiden year, Ichigo. Keep up the good work!

I like the long shows. it makes my fangirl heart cry when the shows are too short. Also being grabed by the arm until its ready to fall off reminds me of when I first meet Batou at AX awww the memories.

Okay, I finally broke down and looked into the DBZ movie on imdb.com, which is an excellent upcoming movie site. I watched the trailer and the first line about 'Once upon a time the world was threatened' sounded to me a lot like the opening line for the trailer of 'Army of Darkness': "In an age of darkness . . . " So yeah, that didn't help. Neither did learning that Ernie Hudson will be in the movie (I presume he'll be Mr. Popo.) I mean, he was Winston in 'Ghostbusters'; how come he can't get cooler parts? And while looking at the screenshots, while I admire Justin Chadwick's spiked hairstyle, I notice that he's wearing the all-dark blue outfit instead of a blue and orange one. Is this because Hollywood was forbidden to dress him in black leather? Because you know they would've otherwise, like when they designed the outfits for the X-Men movies. And the whole seven mystics bit; whenever I hear the term 'mystic', I just think 'Dark Crystal'. Ack, the Earth is being attacked by Skeksis! (Hey, who wasn't spooked by those things as a kid?) As a parting thought on this, I think a lot of people walking out of the theater after this movie (after they've stopped twitching and foaming at the mouth and all) are going to first say, "Where was Krillin?"
Whew, that was long. Nice covering of all the major news this week, as well as the two caption battles. On the one that I won with the '300' reference, as late as I entered that week's contest, I was surprised no one else had already used that quote. And boy was I sick of reading all the 'Iron Chef' things; those got incredibly repetitive.
Hey, it was a pretty good show. I'm not complaining.
I'm pretty miffed that I missed that typo in that one caption. I usually fix those with no interest in embarrassing people, y'know? So yeah. Damn. I'm getting old - too much Lunar New Year.
And yes, as far as I'm concerned, if you're not "The Anime Pulse Boys", you are now "World America: Team Police". Until I tire of it. Tired like Rozen Maiden. Or something. I dunno, you guys have any screencaps? I'll take 'em, y'know.
Finally... imagine the giant red monster mailbox singing/dancing to this:

...Is there a backstory behind why Batou seems to enjoy mispronouncing names?
