Oops, I didn't quite understand on the submission form what the 'Fan Character' meant and checked it, but I put it under the Original art category... is that going to hurt me, do I need to resubmit it again?
Is text allowed at all? I was a little confused after reading the contest rules, and am just looking for a little clarification. For example, if we include writing in it, that isn't actually text, does it count? Would it be beneficial to include "NYAF" on it? Just want to clear a few things up.
I know the image has to be 300 dpi, but is there a preference in size? I did mine at 3" x 3.5" at 300 dpi, but should I redo it at, say, 8" x 9.5", or is my original ok as it is?
Being that I actually live in New York, I know how it is.. How others view this place is something I can't even fathom. Unless they've lived here themselves. It sounds like fun. A lot of artists in the apple like to make fun of this place we have such a strong love/hate relationship with. I'll see what I can cook up if I have the time.

I love contests. I am prepared to submit at least one entry. I have never been to New York before so if I do have a slight chance of winning, it would be an excuse to go.
