The chat.
The freakin’ chat.
After it opened last July, friends who were already friends became far closer friends. Friends who weren’t really good friends became better friends. People who weren’t friends to begin with became friends.
And then there were the others… ahem. While some people have proven themselves to be riotous, wonderful people, others have shown their true colours in the face of real-time conversation. Oh yeah, make no mistake, many dramas have ensued from that little scripted place… but like all things, they just tend to stand out more. Ultimately, there has been far more good to come out of the chat than not.
In all, that chatroom has been one of the best additions to theOtaku.com in probably its entire existence. The number of stories that have come and gone over there just never end, and I doubt they will ever end.
I’m sure I’ll see you all back in there soon enough.
