1 - Version Vibrant Launches:
There were a lot of growing pains back in March. For every three members who loved the new look and the new features, there was one quiet dissenter upset that we had butchered the site they loved, that the community hath been rent in two, that Adam had destroyed all that was good about theOtaku.com. It was buggy, slow at times, and there was an endless string of very, very upset young people…
But without Version Vibrant, we wouldn’t have the chat.
Or partnered work done closely with multiple people on the same World (and let’s face it, guest posting has gotten a lot of use this year).
Or a clean, modern, current-generation layout that’s easy on the eyes and the head once the growing pains were over.
Nowadays, we don’t even think of it as “Version Vibrant” anymore. It’s simply theOtaku.com, plain and simple. This is our site.
And it just keeps getting better with age. Happy new year, everyone. We’ll see ya in 2009.
