Tales of Okuri Tale 4 of 7 Sake and Swords

Looks like the technical whatzit hadn’t been a waste of money at all.

Okuri wasn’t happy, and he didn’t sound like it:

“I’m really fucking pissed off right now. When I became Shogun, I thought no one would be enough of a dipshit to do this. I thought people would respect me, and that anyone who didn’t respect me would be too afraid of me to pull a stunt like this. Well, the Shogun is never wrong, but he is misinformed at times.”

He leaned forward slightly.

“You’re trying to start a war with me, aren’t you? Well then, let me save you the trouble! I, Okuri Okami, Shogun of the Land of Snow, officially declare a state of civil war on Homaru, Leader of the Order of the Flame!”

He leaned back.

“I’m going to kill you last, Homaru. First, I’m going to kill every goddamn member of your little cult. Then I’ll kill their families, immediate and extended. Then I’ll kill their friends, their business connections, their animals. I’ll destroy and consume anything of value that they have. Then I’m going to walk into your little hideout and kill you.”

Okuri began to chuckle.

“I don’t know why you’re doing this, to tell you the truth. You don’t stand a chance, not against me, not against my brothers, not against the
hordes of Samurai I command. Your people are going to die……and it’s all because of you. So, goodbye, Homaru. The next time we meet…..I’m going to kill you.”

He leaned in and began to whisper.

“Oh, and by the way, you look like a girl.”

The screen went blank.
