“There’s the bastard!” The Cloud ninja suddenly shouted, pointing in the direction that the wind was coming from. All the shinobi looked where his finger was pointing. There stood a dark shape resembling a large, armored man with long and flowing hair. Seven long pieces of fur appeared to be attached to the back of his belt, providing the illusion that he had seven tails. He also appeared to be wearing some sort of head dress resembling dog ears.
“Oh, so you’ve come out of hiding, have you? Prepare to die!”

But, just as the Cloud Ninja threw his kunai, the mysterious opponent exhaled quickly. A strong wind, mixed with cutting breezes akin to Temari’s wind scythes, spewed forth from his gaping mouth. The wind blades did not cut deeply enough into the flesh to kill, but they were enough to disable the ninja.

The dark man leaped over them with an unnatural grace and landed on all fours. He then stood up and walked towards the place where Masanori slept, only a few strides away. Naruto, who was lying closed to the thing, spat out the blood that had been gathering in his mouth. This caused the man to stop and turn his head ever so slightly, as to look at him out of the back of his eye. He had no iris, only a pitch black pupil surrounded by yellow. He stopped only for a moment, however, and he soon resumed his walking. One thing Naruto noticed, the one thing that surprised him, is that when he spat the blood out, the head dress resembling dog ears moved.
