Itachi withdrew his blade from Okuri’s body, letting him fall into the water. “Foolish dog. You never stood a chance at beating me. I killed Shisui, remember? And you could never beat him.”
Itachi turned around and began to walk away. Then a very cold breeze started blowing, and Itachi stopped. He heard Okuri’s laughter coming from behind him. “Shisui? That weakling? You never noticed me beating him up? That bastard stole my girl, and I nearly killed him.” Itachi turned back to see Okuri suspended in the middle of a whirlwind.

Suddenly the whirlwind exploded, sending Itachi flying. The lake instantaneously froze, providing a hard landing for him. “Now then, Itachi, let’s fight!” boomed an unbelievably deep voice from behind him.
“The power of the Seven Tails had been unleashed, and I had Itachi cornered. But, unknown to me, our family had been planning for this day since I was born. Planning to kill me on the day I let out the Seven Tails.” Okuri closed his eyes. “Dad, the other family members, the members of the Hyuuga clan, and so many others…….I killed them all out of self defense. That’s the truth.”
So that was it. The terrible truth about why his father died. He had died trying to murder his son, as he had planned since he was born. It made Kiba ashamed to be an Inuzuka.
