Today is the 4th day of my countdown. Hard to believe, we are getting down to the nitty gritty. Without further ado, I present my choices at spots 3 and 4. Please enjoy the presentation.

4. Scapegoat
Artist: by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Yosh
Owari no Seraph (End 1)

Full (ish) ver.

Unfortunately I could NOT find the original ending animation video of Scapegoat on Youtube. Youtube has gotten awfully bad about that. The video above is the best I could find to represent the song. I'm sorry. Also I can't even find a video featuring the original full song without it being nightcored or edited due to fear of Youtube's copyright restrictions. To me it's nothing more than controlled censorship. I'm sick of it. Ok baby rant is done.

The reason I picked this song Scapegoat is because to me, this is one of the songs I can actually relate to the most. With it's mixed lyrics of English and Japanese, it tells a story about somebody who wants to reconnect with somebody from the past. It also tells of the strife that these characters had to go through (Mika and Yuu) to get back to each other.

This song speaks to me because I discovered it during a dark period in my life. I clung to this song like a teddybear because I felt like it told my story. I to this day feel that way about this song. It's beautiful, the lyrics are amazing, and it is just a fantastic song. Give it a listen when you get a chance. You won't be disappointed. :)

3. Teardrop
Artist: BOWL
Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX (Op 3 | Ver. 2)

Full ver.

Yes I picked another Yu-Gi-Oh opening. But please keep in mind that each of the 5 series in the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise are different series, while they still share the same card game. The characters are different, stories are different. Plus I just simply couldn't ignore this opening because it means something to me.

At spot #3 we have Teardrop, opening 3 of Yu-Gi-Oh GX. The reason I picked this song/opening is because again, this is another song that has touched me. What I really love is the melody and how it is kind of sad and hopeful at the same time. The lyrics talk about a dear friend (Johan) being there for their friend who is suffering and going through a lot of strife (Judai). This is something we can all relate to, so for this reason, this song deserves the #3 spot in my mind.

That concludes today's countdown post. Please come back for my top two choices. I promise you are going to like them. I have had a lot of fun doing this countdown this week. I hope you guys enjoyed my posts and I hope you come back tomorrow for my last post.

Until next time, ja ne~
