Loved the song from the first time I heard it. The opening does a good job introducing the characters, as well.

I fell in love with the song from the first time I heard it. (I even tracked it down on iTunes after so many years to purchase it officially!) Partnered with some nice visuals to bring out the feels, this earned an honorary mention in my unofficial list last year, and still earned a nice rank this round.

Reason Triangle - QUADRANGLE
This opener really gets you psyched for the show! Introduces all the characters, has flashy visuals, and totally sets the tone.

My Soul, Your Beats - Lia
Beautiful opening animation, and the music caught me as soon as that piano started playing. This is another song I bought long after I saw the anime.

Over the Sky - Hitomi
The beautiful imagery and equally ethereal sound are a perfect way to wind down after an episode.
9. Samurai 7 ED
Fuhen - Rin'
I would sit down and let the credits play just to enjoy the music. The imagery is subtle, but certainly adds to the mood of the song.
