Organization Oblivion's sister world:CLICK has information on the apprentices if you need to look it up

Also check out here which is used for the randomness of the castle.

Prospective new members: we will decline every new member that wishes to enter the castle at this time until this arch in the story line is over. After that time, people may apply for membership. Once this arch is over, I will give more details.

Machinations of War

Despite wanting to spend time analyzing this new-found "feeling" of love, I knew we didn't have the time for that. "Pashnirix," I began

"I know," he said. I could almost hear the frown in his voice. "The issue of your orders is rather pressing, but as I stated earlier, I spoke with the leader today." He paused. "He was obviously upset with everything that had happened, but he didn't punish me. Just...yelled. A lot."

I frowned myself. "So?"

"He's distracted, Rex," he explained, pacing the room. "Something's going on."

"Um, my organization just got orders to destroy yours. I think he has a right to be distracted," I said, raising an eyebrow.

"Your organization just received orders to destroy us. He should be mobilizing every last one of us," said Pashnirix hurriedly, "not...doing whatever he is doing now. We have more than enough manpower to do enough damage to keep you at bay. We should be fighting."

I thought about this, and realized he was right. "Which means that something really is going on," I said mostly to myself, "probably some kind of deal, knowing our Leader."

We stared at each other for a moment, every single worst case scenario running through our minds simultaneously. "I guess I'm not getting any sleep tonight, either," he said, hastily stripping and changing back into his suit. He grabbed his cloak, grabbed my hand, and led me out the doorway.

As I rushed to keep up with his long strides, I asked, "Where are we going?"

"I'm going to see Xerebus," he said. "If you want to go back to your--Verex!"

As we were running down the hallway, we passed Verex, who looked worried himself, and quite preoccupied. Pashnirix held on to his arm and asked, "Verex, what the hell is going on here? Did you know that Organization Oblivion--"

"Has orders to eliminate us, yes," said Verex, frowning. He nodded towards me, and I acknowledged him. "How much do you two know about the situation?"

"Xerebus is worried, very worried about something, and I suspect it involves a deal between him and the Leader of Oblivion," answered Pashnirix.

Verex sighed. "Then you don't know the other half. Tanex rounded up the apprentices and between him and RaXi, we've got a rather impressive contingency against both Xerebus and Xraktos. Right now, we're working on an experiment using RaXi's copy technique--"

"RaXi? Where is she?" I hadn't seen her for a while, and as one of the few friends I had, I was glad to hear news of her.

"She's back at the Oblivion Tanex created, where we're researching," he said. "I just stopped back here to grab some supplies. If you want, I could take you to the castle."

I glanced at Pashnirix, who gave a quick nod of his head. "You go ahead if you want to," he said. "I'm still going to go talk to Xerebus and find out exactly what's going on."

Verex nodded. "Just follow Rexikat's signature when you want to find us," he said with a slight smirk. "I'm sure you could manage that, dragon."

Pashnirix scoffed. "Of course," he said, turning to leave.

Verex created a portal and motioned for me to go through. "Wait," Pashnirix called, just before we went through.

"Verex," he said with a nod, "you look...a little different. Happier, I think."

A small smile twitched at the corner of Verex's mouth. "I could say the same to you, Pashnirix," he said in return.

"Ah," said Pashnirix, winking at me. With a rueful grin, I snagged Verex's sleeve and pulled him through the portal.

"You and Pashnirix?" he questioned as we came out of the portal into a hallway.

"You and RaXi?" I countered, raising an eyebrow.

Verex narrowed his eyes at me, but grinned. "Touche," he said.

"You don't tell on me, and I don't tell on you," I said easily, my hand on the doorknob to the lab.

"Ah, but ignoring him doesn't work, my dear," whispered Verex as we entered the room, "I've already tried."

I stifled my giggles and greeted everyone there with a serious face. "Hey, everyone," I said, nodding. I recognized Aidex and Xyta from Pashnirix's castle, but there were a couple other apprentices there I didn't know.

"This is Rexikat, for those of you who do not know," announced Verex. "She is of Organization Oblivion and will be joining our efforts. Trust her as you do each other," he warned.

Everyone mumbled some sort of greeting, but mostly everyone seemed busy with other things. "Alright, then," I said to Verex, "just let me know where I can help out."

KitKat: Finally! A post! >.> Where are you, summer vacation and lazy days?!

Pashnirix: Somewhere lost with Rex's willingness to show "emotion". :3

Rexikat: -_- I resent that, Pashnirix.

Enjoy!

The man in the portal...

Lexian I knew he was around here somewhere… but where could he be at? This castle that Tanex made was made with energy it was hard to locate anyone in this castle, especially one that probably doesn’t want to be found. I could feel parts of energy’s I was close to, but other wise... it was just all Tanex, Tanex, Tanex and he isn’t even around here. I don’t think.

“Hm… this is going to be harder then I thought.” I commented out loud to myself, sighing and leaning against a cold stone wall.

Walking farther down one of the vacant hallways I noticed that it started to get colder again. ‘Must be Xirian’s room coming up,’ and sure enough the last door on the end was covered in ice and the surrounding area. I was surprised at myself; I only had to try to regaining my balance a couple of times and I did even--. The last thing I knew was that I was walking toward the intersection of the hall, but the next thing I knew I was making friends with the floor and looking at the ceiling.

“Or maybe I spoke to soon…” I grumbled out not surprised because to a classical Klutz it was inedible… for it was life.

After getting up and brushing myself off and slipping a couple of times after I finally made my way back to stone ground. Knowing that Lexian would not be anywhere around his door I made a portal to try and see if I could get back to the front of the castle.

Stepping into the never ending abyss that linked the portal to the desired spot you wished to travel I could finally start to picture where everyone was. Tanex was in the basement with Xirian, Aidex and Xyta where still fast asleep, RaXi—it felt like she had just come back from somewhere. Closing my eyes I searched for his familiar presence and didn’t even notice until it was too late. That someone else came threw a different portal from behind me.

I didn’t understand who else would be so close around here that our portals would cross? The only place close was Organization Zero, and I highly doubt that this person was from there. I would already be dead by now if it was… right? That was why Tanex did not want us to leave the castle in the first place. There were too many opponents from the other side around here that would recognize us. So who is this nobody? And why am I not dead yet?

Slowly turning around I caught sight of long silvery hair blowing around his tall body, he was even taller then Sarixen! Silver bangs framed his face and made his bright blue, almost cyan, eyes stand out in a perfect blend of color. I could feel the blood run from my face as it paled when my eyes came to rest on the white cloak he wore. ‘Organization Zero.’

The energy rating off him was equal or more then Tanex’s own power, but it couldn’t be any less. I knew it should have scared me, but for some abnormal reason I was fairly calm and oddly I knew already that my sword would not come to me. I couldn’t use my guitar in here it was only for long range attack and besides there was nothing I could use to bounce the light off so why even bother.

I watched as his fists clenched and relaxed then clench again it was unnerving to watch this, like he debating to kill me here or probably thinking if his leader would be mad if he just killed me now. That was the most logical… but for some reason logic didn’t seem like the right thing, right now. As my eyes traveled back up to his own it felt like something was pulling at my soul.

‘Could that be his power?’ I thought, but that also didn’t feel right either.

All I knew was the long we stood like that the stronger it pulled, and the harder I had to stop myself from falling on my knees and doing something irrational. A nonexistent breeze picked up sending is long soft hair flying, and in an instant I knew I was at that place anymore, well at least not mentally.

I knew near death experience bring on lost memories but this didn’t feel like one, I was so at peace except for the whole ‘Ripping out your Soul thing’, but I guess this was. Beautiful white archways lied above me and lead me to an open balcony doors. Walking out there I could feel a soft warm breeze play across the small area I occupied and in my hair. Relaxing even more I walk the rest of the way to the edge of the white brick balcony and rested my elbows on top of the ledge and leaned against it. Bright white stars dances across the sky and just looking at the dark endless night amazed and comforted me.

Movement to my right caught my eye, but it didn’t even raise any suspicions from me. By back was still turned away from the person and even if I wanted to ne tense, I found that I couldn’t. Everything was so soothing and peaceful, but nothing last forever and a quick pain took me out of that place before I could even see who was behind me.

Holding a hand to my chest I stepped back away from whatever that man could do, but it didn’t work it only hurt more.

“W-who…” I could hear my voice crack with the effort I put in to use it, it felt like I haven’t used it in ages.

“Who are… you?” I pleaded waiting for him to comment or to kill me.

‘Lex, where are you?’

~An utterly confused Nyx

Truth be told

I crouched ready to train with Narexurk. He had his weapons out and at the ready a grin on his face.
“You ready?”
“Ready when you are.”
I smirked and started our training session. I launched forward my hands infront of me as I began training. We attacked each other with no intention of hurting the other, at least I wasn’t. I was mucking around, having fun with my powers. Until.... my eyes glazed over, I had felt this before... Without my will, my weapon appeared in my hand. My arms raised, weaponed aimed at Narexurk. My grip tightened, the trigger biting into my finger as I tried with all my might to stop it from clicking, from firing my weapon.

The Trigger clicked i watched as dirt bullets riddled the training room. Narexurk dodged them, but my gaze had fallen to my arms which i couldn’t move of my own accord. KEESHA. She was controlling me again.

Hello Darling, long time no... see. Her laughter echoed in my head
Get out of my head KEESHA
Maybe later

My arm rose, And pointed at Narexurk crouched on the floor. My fingers opened and a whirlwind shot out at him sending him flying towards the opposite side of the room. He hit the wall with a thud. I closed my eyes tightly as i heard him hit the ground. I opened my eyes to see him uncouncious on the ground. I shot a water pipe and watched as the water sprayed infront of me. I formed the water into a flat bubble, my own personal mirror.
“Keesha” She appeared infront of me a grin on her face.
“You have such a soft spot.”
“He’s my team mate. I don’t want to hurt him.”
“Boo hoo, OHH guess who i have in the dungeons for conspiracy??”
“Yamil.”
“Yes... but he’s not the reason i’m here... he’s not THAT important.”
“WHAT how could you say that!! He’s a human being, another LIFE.”
I watched as a grin spread on Keesha’s face.
“Perfect.”
My water mirror burst, my eyes fully glazed over, i was no longer in control of my being, no longer in control what-so-ever.

**

Keesha smirked as she got Kyxsha angry enough... angry enough for COMPLETE control. Keesha made Kyxsha came to her side through a porthole. As Kyxsha stood there a Zombie to her master Keesha looked at her in disgust, Kyxsha came out of the porthole in a bright pink training suit.

“Gah, you and i always had a different sense of taste.” She sat back down on her throne, lounging on the throne with her feet hanging of the side.
“Ahh well.... at least i know that well BOTH enjoy this.” At her gesture Kyxsha jumped up and sat to the side. Bathed in shadows.

Keesha’s eyes moved from her Zombie to the doors as the opened revealing the demi-god twins. Domix and Ximh.
“So THIS is the famous Ximh i’ve been hearing so much of...” Keesha said. The darkness of the night shrouded her.
“Who’s there?” Domix asked.
“Keesha,” She remained seated as a gust of wind blew the curtains from the window, the moonlight flooded in slowly, revealing the face of a familiar ally, only slightly different, “Queen and ruler of Agraba.”
“THAT WOMEN!” Domix growled is finger pointed at Keesha.
“Yes and it’s a pleasure to meet you too Domix,” her attention turned to Ximh as he stood dumfounded. “Do you know how many times you have come into Kyxsha’s head?”
“what?”
“You have her wanting to cry and rip your throat at, at the same time. It's.... interesting to say the least”

“My affairs are none of your concern, I did not come here to be analyzed by the likes of you...I came to retrieve the weapons, plain and simple..”

“Don’t try to deny it. Your happy that she thinks about you. That’s she miserable without y....”
“QUIET, where are the weapons.”
“ohh, brrr, So cold.” Keesha mocked rubbing her forearms.

“Where are they? We have come to retrieve them.” Ximh stated.
Keesha spun around and grabbed the spear that hung above her throne.
“No you didn’t you just wanted to see me... I mean i’m the closest your gonna get to her without actually having to admit you LOVE her.” Keesha laughed spinning the spear above her head.

“Give them or we’ll take them by force.” Domix spoke out.
“Thorn of Truth... My favourite piece. Beauty beyond that of a normal spear, and deadly sharp,” Keesha ran her finger along the edge creating a small cut on her finger. The blood ran from her finger. She licked it off her finger and spun her spear, holding it lazily to face her opponent. The tip resting on the floor. The wind blew again making the metal glint in the moonlight.
“It’ll get the truth out of you one way or another.” Tilting her head she waited for the twins.

Kyxsha and Keesha

Enter Agrabah

The desert wind blew harsh heated sand fragments fiercely at us...showing us no mercy or restraint. The wind was not cool or soothing...but hot and unwelcome. We'd been walking for some time after coming to this world...I had portaled us way too far from the city, yet I refused to admit my mistake. So we merely walked on towards our destination. I covered up my mistake by stating I didn't want anyone to sense our presence.

"AAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH......Ximh....curse you dammit...." Domix whined from far behind me. "You BASTARD....you know I hate this heat...come on....let's just portal there....seriously!!!"

"Quit being a wimp Domix." I mumbled...I was sure he couldn't hear me...not as far back as he was. "Let's just call this a bit of vengeance then, shall we?" I snickered.

He continued his whining and ranting...and as long as he was doing that I felt he had the energy to walk. Standing atop the tallest mound of sand yet, I could see it in the distance. Agrabah. From this distance it looked like a mere mirage...but I was sure that was it. I'd been to this town several times. More times than not it hadn't been pleasurable, I was sure this time would be no different. Sent to dispatch an egotistical ruler, he was probably some old fat noble with disillusioned aspirations of grandeur. As if he could ever amount to anything more than he already was. What? Ruling an entire world wasn't enough for him...I hated these types of mortals. Always taking for granted what they had. Wanting more...lusting and lusting until it destroyed them. Decaying them until they were just as shallow as their empty aspirations.

Suddenly I noticed how quiet it had gotten. Looking back quickly...Domix was face down in the sand at the bottom of the mound I'd climbed. "DOMIX!" I slid down the hill of sand to him and rolled him over.

"Heh...what's up Magni? We there yet?" Domix mumbled. He was sweating profusely...the heat WAS bothering him... "Yeah...I know it's cliché, but come on man, I hate that sun, it's so close here. It needs to learn to keep it's distance."

"I'm sorry Domix." I admitted feeling slightly bad now. I'd actually thought he'd been giving me a hard time. I had completely forgotten his intolerance for the desert...after all...he was Frost. He couldn't stand the heat and tried to avoid it if he could.

"Dude...apologizing makes you look weak. Knock it off." Domix rebuked and pushed me away from him. He attempted to stand...which only led to him keeling over again. This time he was unconscious.

Grabbing him by the back of his cloak I drug him behind me the remaining way to town. Luckily by the time I got there the sun was nearly down. Soon it would be night in the desert, I was sure Domix would be fine then. That was majestic part of the desert, so scorching and unforgiving during the day...and so cold and merciless at night. One could freeze to death in the desert at night.

At the gates of Agrabah I dropped Domix as I felt him beginning to move and wake up. He stood up and immediately turned his attention to his cloak. "AH! Look what you did Ximh?! Xerebus will tear me a new one if I try and wear this cloak...in this condition!! It's filthy! Did you HAVE to drag me like that?!"

"Well, I could've just left you...but I thought that would be cruel." I smiled. "But yeah...it was too hot for me to have to carry you. Besides, why in the world are your cloaks WHITE? You know how FAST I could stain that up with blood?"

"Hah hah...very funny. They are WHITE...because he thought he was clever contradicting YOUR Organization, numbskull." Domix stated sarcastically. He didn't look so bad now that the temperature was dropping. "Oh yeah...now this is more like it. Go away sun!" He shouted with excitement stretching his arms above his head. A few villagers cast him strange glances...but maybe they were looking at us both. We weren't exactly run of the mill visitors here.

As Domix took off his cloak and cast it through a portal, I stopped him from closing it. Taking my cloak off as well, I threw it through behind Domix's. At least now we were a little less conspicuous. Though it didn't really matter how we looked, we would do what we'd come to do...regardless on who got in our way.

"Hey Ximh...I say we take care of this dude tonight. Really, I don't wanna have to deal with that blasted sun again...let's just get this over with alright?" Domix spoke lowly, his eyes fixated on the huge golden palace towers. "It's not like we have to FIND him..." He laughed casting me that sarcastic smirk of his.

"Sure..." I spoke without thinking, my eyes were scanning the area from side to side. I didn't like the feeling I was getting. I knew Yamil wandered around this world...and I swore...if he got in my way I WOULD cut him down this time. I didn't have the patience for that man.

We made our way through the dying city streets. The market merchants packing up and moving out...most likely before the thieves and undesirables hit the streets. Finally on the other side of the square, the palace gates were right before us. There were guards, but they were nothing special.

"Wait until it's completely dark...then we'll make our move alright?" I conferred with Domix.

"Yeah, sounds good. Just as long as we don't wait until morning." Domix laughed. He was completely fine now...almost energized about being out of the sun.

Hopefully this mission would be as I planned, get in, get out...I didn't want a hassle with complications.

Ximh

Something's wrong...

"You're free..." I mumbled more to myself than to Verex. I couldn't believe it...of all the suggestions...Snow White's had been correct. But...perhaps they were ALL correct...you just had to choose your own path. And then I recalled how I'd KISSED him...I suddenly felt very bashful...my face seemed to feel warm...What was this?! This feeling...

Verex smiled and jumped up. He grabbed me into a tight embrace. "Thank you so much RaXi...Thank you..."

I couldn't move...I didn't know what to say...how to react....none of it. And then my thoughts drifted to Triskix...he was bound as well...I had to free him. Had to break Xrakto's control over him. But could I bring myself to act in such a way towards him as well. Now that I had....kissed Verex...what did that mean? Did that imply some sort of love? But I was a Nobody...I couldn't....

My mind recalled Pashnirix and Rexikat's predicament. "No...that's not right...it's not that I CAN'T....I have just refused it...refused to believe in it...all this time...." I mumbled in realization.

Verex pulled away. "RaXi? What are you talking about?"

I looked into his eyes...I could feel it now. The reason why as I gazed into them...I felt as though nothing could stop me. I could not lie to Verex... "Verex...there's something you have to know...it has always been my duty to protect-" I was cut off. I suddenly had a horrible feeling...it had landed on my being like a ton of bricks. Something was terribly wrong. Something with Triskix...he was...hurt...or....even dying...I suddenly felt rushed. A wave of anger flooding over me. "That B******!!! I left...I went from there to SPARE him! How DARE he....how DARE he!!"

I paced the room anxiously until Verex took hold of me by the shoulders and halted me. "RaXi!" He calmed me down instantly. Looking into my eyes filled with sincerity he said, "Do what you NEED to do...I believe in you. I trust you RaXi."

My body relaxed completely and I slowly moved in and kissed Verex on the cheek. "I have to protect him...they are all my responsibility Verex. But I swear...I shall return to you."

"Don't worry...I will wait forever if I have to." He laughed. "Oh, and RaXi...I'll cover for you. Right now Tanex is assisting in the experiment...just hurry back alright. He won't worry...but I'm sure your friend Nyx will if she finds you gone."

"Yes." I affirmed. Opening a portal, I masked my presence and entered Oblivion. Following Triskix's lowered energy signature...I rushed to the Infirmary.

He was lying there in an unconscious state...something terrible had happened to him....Xemmsur was passed out on a nearby chair and Minx had fallen asleep with her head on Tamex's shoulder. They all seemed exhausted...most likely from dealing with Triskix's wounds...

I stood before Triskix. An overwhelming sadness flooded my being. I couldn't stand to see him this way...not at all. My hand found it's way to his cheek as I nudged him. "Triskix...Triskix?" I whispered...hoping he would open his eyes but....nothing. He needed to be free from that man...until he was...he would suffer this way forever.

My hand quivered as I thought about what I was going to attempt. I didn't think it would work a second time...but I had to try. At least this way, Triskix was asleep...so he wouldn't know if it DIDN'T WORK. I looked back at the others...still asleep. Slowly I leaned in....until just as I was about to bestow the deed upon him...Tamex spoke.

"Yes, he's breathing Lady RaXi."

I froze((pun! haha -_-')) immediately jolting up...I prayed Tamex hadn't deduced what I was about to do. I turned to face him. "What happened to him Tamex? And what are you doing back at the Castle?"

"I don't know what happened. He was found that way...I can only assume." Tamex answered.

"I see...so it's as I thought." I affirmed. "I can't do anything about it yet...carelessness will achieve nothing."

"As for your second question...I came back here for answers." Tamex started. "Maybe you could help me Lady RaXi. Tell me do you know a nobody named Verex?"

I gave Tamex a sideways glance. "Yes I do." I answered truthfully. Tamex smiled immensely. "However, I'm sure I don't have any of the answers you seek." His smile vanished to a look of curiosity.

"How do you know that? I haven't ASKED them yet..."

"Tamex...listen closely." I demanded my voice very low. I felt the need to leave...the last thing I needed was for that man to find me here. "I have left this Castle for the time being. I only returned for Triskix..." My eyes wandered back to him in his sad state. "Now that I know you're here though...I'm sure I have nothing to fear. Please Tamex...take care of him...protect them all until I can return."

"What? Look..."

"Please...I know this is a heavy burden to place on you. I do not ask you to wage my war...only to tend to their wounds and keep them from death." I explained. Not waiting for his answer I turned back to a portal. "We will return soon...please...just until then. I'm counting on you..."

Stepping through I returned to Tanex's Oblivion. The room where Verex stood waiting. "That didn't take long...did you free him?"

My eyes turned down. "No..."

Verex smiled. "Don't worry...you will. I'm sure you'll all save him eventually. Until then...just have faith in him alright?"

I nodded.

"Now come on...you need to get some rest...I'm going back down to the lab to speed things up...but RaXi...seriously...get some sleep." Verex instructed me. "Or do I need to guard you and make sure?"

"No...I will rest...I promise." I assented.

Verex left and I laid down. I fell asleep slowly...the plans for the battle to come rushing through my head. Not only that...but all those who were waiting for me back at Oblivion...those who had put their faith in me. I swore...I wouldn't let them down...
