Ximh and I walked to the Dining Hall to meet up with the other members, and to find Xait and Amaterasux. Everyone was gathered, all twenty some-odd of us, except for a few…like RaXi, and Triskix, and Lexian. But Xait and Ama were easy enough to find.
Ximh gave them the black balls that Tamex had made, explaining that they were cloaking devices, and then Kyxsha addressed us all.
“Ladies and gentlemen, now is the time to FIGHT. After your missions, I know some of you are tired, but I assure you, this fight is NOT to the death; it is simply a battle to see which side has the upper hand in this WAR, the war to rule the worlds. So please, go to The World that ALWAYS was and show them. WE ARE NOT TO BE TRIFLED WITH. WE ARE ORGANIZATION THIRTEEN, AND WE WILL RULE THE WORLDS!”
I snorted a bit at her fanfare, leaned over to Ximh, and whispered, “In her overzealous haste, has she forgotten that we are not Org. XIII, but Organization Oblivion?”
He pouted. “Hey, leave her alone,” he whispered back.
The Leader, standing behind Kyxsha, opened up a huge portal to the Citadel. This was it; we were going to go through with a plan that I completely opposed and just knew from instinct was going to fail. I sighed, travelling through the portal with everyone else.
As we arrived in front of the Citadel, she called out, “WE COME HERE TO FIGHT! DO YOU ACCEPT OUR CHALLENGE, OR FORFEIT?”
I nearly slapped a palm to my face. Talk about obtrusive.
Organization Zero’s members came out of the Citadel’s main doorway. My eyes darted quickly across the ranks, searching for a ponytail of ice blue hair, but finding none. I narrowed my eyes in annoyance, and wondered where the dragon could be.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He finally found what he had been looking for: a pair of golden armlets studded with beautiful tiger’s eye stones. He hadn’t believed the seer who had given them to him when she had foreseen his future need for them, but now, Pashnirix couldn’t have been more grateful. They would make perfect…gifts for his mate. He smiled ruefully.
“I am not so sure how well she will like them, though,” he mused to himself. Pricking his ears, he heard the call of Organization Oblivion outside the Citadel. Polishing his blade one last time and stowing the armlets in his pocket, he made his way up to the roof through a secret passageway and, hiding behind a spire, watched for his tigress.
Kyxsha engaged in battle first, with someone who clearly knew how to push her buttons. Wasting no time, I grabbed Ximh by the arm. “Let’s go,” I said.
As I ran, I pulled into my element, feeling the feline ears forming on my head and my tail swishing around my legs. I hadn’t bothered wearing my boots, and I could feel the claws on my feet-turned-paws digging into the ground. Entering the Citadel, I quickly called on my camouflage, and watched the others as they used the balls that Tamex made. I had to give it to him, they worked pretty well. Had my other senses not been enhanced as they were, I probably wouldn’t have found them at all.
“Okay,” I whispered, “you know the plan. Ximh, you take the Central Tower. I’ll take the North and West Towers, Xait, you take East, and Ama, you take South. Understand?”
Everyone nodded, and Ximh said, “Good luck,” as we all set off. Carefully holding the bombs, I scampered off in the direction of the North Tower first.
Pashnirix watched as Rexikat entered the Citadel. He had heard their plan, of course, and slipped from the roof to proceed to the North Tower. On his way there, however he met an obstacle…
“Serix,” sighed Pashnirix in annoyance. The man was ridiculously silent, only speaking with good reason, but he was terribly observant, and if anyone would have figured out his dealings with Rexikat, it would have been him.
“Pashnirix,” replied Serix, eyed the other man coldly. “You have been meeting with the enemy.”
The Dragon Duelist laughed him off. “Oh, that. You needn’t worry yourself, Serix. The Leader already—”
“The Leader knows of your plan,” Serix interrupted tonelessly. “He knows you were planning on running away with the Chained Rhapsody, their IX. He sent me to stop you.”
Pashnirix narrowed his eyes. “Running away? I would hardly call ‘kidnapping’ running away,” he taunted, folding his arms, still refusing to draw a weapon.
“Your antics will not sway me, Pashnirix,” answered Serix. “I serve Xerebus. He is my master, and his word is law. I will stop you, or die trying. You are not to leave with that Nobody.” He summoned forth a large sword, and Pashnirix could already feel the drain on his own energy. He would need to end this quickly.
Drawing his scimitar, he said, “Very well, Serix, but know that your fading will not disturb me in the least.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I reached the North Tower without incident. Quickly hurrying down the stairs to the base of the tower, I arranged the bomb exactly as I was instructed. My skin prickled as I worked, but I tried to ignore the feeling.
I couldn’t help but keep looking over my shoulder, not only for enemies, but for Pashnirix as well. Despite our arrangement to make it look like a kidnapping, I didn’t want to be caught off guard yet again. Finishing the job, I took one last glance around, and then hurried onto the next tower, the West Tower. Hopefully, the others would get theirs down just as fast and without incident.
Only one more tower to go…

Part 1 of Rex's part in the Citadel Attack...
“What,” I said darkly back to Lexian. “You’re saying you ever forgot?”
Lexian’s eyes took on a purple hue, and I felt the change in mine.
“No,” Lexian answered back. “I never forgot the facts of it, but the events just came forward in my mind. And Triskix….I’m angry…..”
“Oh so the emo’s angry?” I smirked back. “And edging for a fight? Fine, I think a fight is in order…..”
“You and your order….” Lexian glared back. “I’ll slash it to bits….”
Lexian slashed forwards, but I brought my scythe straight forwards blocking the diagonal slash. While still blocked, I quickly moved the length of the scythe down and carved at the keybalde with the enclosing of my scythe. In an instant, Lexian drew back, and the sound of his heals digging into the ground clamored along with the echo of metal on metal.
Cherry red flames grew on the walls and mingled with the black aura slowly emitting from the brick itself. It was an open turn, and I took it. I set the ends of the chains on fire and started forwards bringing my scythe down in a circular motion. The chain and ball followed, and as Lexian blocked the scythe’s sharp scream of death, it left him completely open for the fire of the chains to lynch forwards.
“I win,” I said quickly, but suddenly the dark aura beat back the flames as well as the chais.
“Don’t be so confident Pyro,” Lexian growled.
We clashed again and again, but in the back of my mind the memory Lexian had referred to was coming back…..Even in the chaos of the fight……It came back…..
Everyone was being moved away….all the apprentices were being evacuated by the remaining masters. Axel had pretty much renounced his claim to Organization 13 and had even joined Sora……and I was left dazed and confused. I couldn’t believe Axel had really left me….After I had defended him…….After I had assured everyone that is was some plan by Xemnas…..and then he leaves me…..but some part of me wanted to believe he’d come back….some part of me knew….or wanted it all to go back to normal.
“Go Triskix!” Someone said. I wasn’t paying attention anymore trapped in my own disbelief.
I was ushered into a portal and ended up in Twilight Town. Lexian was standing not far off. He was glaring at me. I gave a similar look. Ever since the beginning of the split between the Organization 13 had started…Lexian and I had slowly moved away from each other.
“Triskix this is your fault,” Lexian glared.
“What do you mean,” I glared back. “I didn’t plan any of this.”
“They’re all fading, and we can’t do anything….” Lexian continued. “Zexion….Vexen….all of them are fading….And it’s Axel’s fault. He’s the traitor….And I think…….”
“That I had a part in it,” I glared back. “That I was conspiring with my master…..”
“Yes,” Lexian answered. “Now tell me Triskix….is I t true?”
“No,” I answered, and Lexian’s face somewhat relaxed. “But if I had known, I would have still followed my master….He’s not a traitor! I refuse to believe it!”
“You’re a liar and a traitor,” Lexian glared.
“You’re the traitor! No you’re the failure!” I yelled back. “You let your master die!”
At this, Lexian’s eye flinched.
“I DID NOT!” Lexian glared.
“You a weakling! A Failure!” I continued. “You couldn’t even save one person! Weaklings shouldn’t exist! You’re a failure! Axel is still alive! And Zexion isn’t! FAILURE!”
“Shut up!” Lexian yelled summoning his keyblade. I formed my scythe.
“You shut up!” I yelled back. “All you ever did was follow them around! And you’re still weak! I’m stronger than you!”
“Traitor!”
“Failure!”
With that we clashed as ruthlessly as we did now. My mind moved back to the current fight.
“You’re a traitor Triskix,” Lexian glared.
“You’re a failure Lexian,” I answered.
We continued to clash. Fire meeting darkness and each wrestling each other’s current or brute strength. I slashed sideways at his side, but in a split second Lexian was out of range. I summoned up a fireball and shot it off at him. Lexian easily cut it in half with the slice of his keybalde.
Suddenly the castle seemed to come down. The ceiling seemed to crack. I looked straight up unsure of just what the heck was going on. At that moment I realized RaXi was in the room. How long had she been there? I had no clue….Lexian looked up as well and was dodging the debris.
“We’ll deal with this later,” I yelled.
“Fine!” Lexian yelled back.
More of the castle seemed to crumble, and I moved swiftly get out of the way.
“RaXi get Anamx somewhere safe!” I hollered across the room.
RaXi was already in action trying to move away from the falling ceiling. As Lexian and I got out of the room, more of the ceiling began to fall. It was like the entire central tower was falling!
“The attack!” I said. “Something is going wrong! We’re under attack!”
“But I don’t sense any presence,” Lexian answered. “That means they’re at Ciatdel. Let’s go.”
As we appeared at Citadel there was a mass of chaos. Their castle was falling in the center just as ours had been. Lexian and I stormed into the castle after the fleeing members of Zero.
“We have to find who is blowing up this castle,” Lexian said. “I sense Rexikat and Ximh…..just down this hallway.”
“Let’s go then,” I said.
Just as we entered Xmh and Rexikat were running out along with Ama and Xait. The ceiling was beginning to crack even more.
“Ximh!” I yelled. “We have to stop whatever you’re doing! It’s destroying our castle!”
“What!” Ximh yelled.
“No time for talk!” Lexian bellowed. “We need to stop the bombs!”
“But I’ve already detonated them!” Ximh yelled.
“Then we must contain them,” Lexian answered. “If this continues neither world will have a castle left….”
“Yes we have to stop. Ximh where is the largest bomb?”
“In the center….it is supposed to go of first and then detonate the rest….” Ximh said. “It’s already started the other explosions….”
“We have to contain the other bombs!” I yelled.
“Ya come on,” Lexian yelled running with me towards the center.
“Wait!” Xait yelled, but Lexian and I were already running.
“Just get out!” I yelled. “We’ll deal with this!”
As we approached the large bomb, it looked to be holding a large amount of electricity and was about to release it all and destroy the castle.
“Lexian, we have to contain it,” I yelled.
“Fire and Darkness? “ Lexian asked.
“Just focus your Dark energy on the bomb!” I yelled.
As the static from the electricity mixed with the dark aura, I made a fire coating. As the bomb detonated the aura and fire contained it. The bomb released a large amount of energy and blew Lexian and me back. We had managed to stop it…….
I felt my body fall forwards, and I staggered on the wall. Lexian seemed to be in the same shape as me.
“Back to the castle….” I breathed opening a portal.
“Ya…..” Lexian said.
We both entered the portal which led to my room. I crashed on the bed, and Lexian fell into the chair next to me. We were both breathing hard, but everything sounded in peace. Our castle wasn’t falling….it was safe….
I lay on the bed for about five minutes before the Leader appeared. I could feel the strange worry running over him. It was strange to feel.
“The attack was taking down my castle,” he said harshly. “The attack meant for their castle was taking down my castle. Dam that Xerebus….he must have linked the castles’ destinies to each other because they exist on completely inverse plains….”
I could barely understand what he was talking about. I was too drossy. The confinement of the explosion had taken a lot. All I wanted was to be at peace at the moment. Lexian didn’t say anything from the chair he still sat in.
“Triskix are you listening?” the Leader asked.
I gave the Leader a lethargic look and then closed my eyes. I heard the Leader sigh.
“Did you fix the castle?” I asked hearing my own droned voice.
“I have some of the lesser nobody rebuilding the central tower, but the bottom level is completely demolished, and it will take time to fix. Dam that Xerebus. Dam him,” the Leader said harshly.
“Dam the world,” Lexian answered back. He sounded drained and half asleep.
“Dam all the worlds.”

WHY! Why did memories flood me now?!........
--One by one the castle was filled with children. At first...I had thought I would never get along with ANY of them...but slowly I began to accept their presences....and without realizing it...even became fond of them. The way Triskix would TRY my nerves...how all of the boys' ruff-housing would drive me up the wall trying to keep the peace...the sincerity in Nyx as she followed me everywhere loyally and kept me company...and the way Xemmsur always seemed so peaceful and happy.
"Why must they always scuffle? It's so straining keeping them in line." Sarixen moaned walking through the halls. "RaXi, you have to keep your composure a bit more as well. Triskix gets under your skin too easily."
"I know...but I have to fight fire with ice!" I emphasized. "I'm the only one who seems able to keep him in line...I don't mean to go overboard..."
Sarixen laughed. "Relax...no need to feel bad now. Want me to lock you in Marluxia's closet?" He joked.
I laughed. Sarixen was older than me...he was...the closest thing I had to an 'older brother-like figure'. Ari had brothers...but they were all cruel...Sarixen wasn't ANYTHING like them. Sarixen and I...we tried to keep the peace in the castle. He did it because it was in his nature...but I did it for Marluxia. I had promised to protect the other children...and to keep them in line. Therefore, keeping them safe...because Xemnas wasn't one to hold back punishment simply because you were a CHILD.
"I still don't see anything wrong with it..." I moped. "Marluxia-sama's closet I mean..."
Sarixen laughed and looked at me...his jade green eye so brilliantly offsetting his amber-colored one. "That's because you idolize that man." He stated flatly. "Well RaXi, I'm off now for my training. Behave yourself."
"I always do!" I shouted after him. I was suddenly tackled from behind.
"RAXI!" It was Tanex. "Hide me! I don't want to train today!! It's so hard and...I NEVER GET TO HAVE ANY FUN!" He whined.
I sighed and stood up. "Tanex...you know Xemnas would be FURIOUS right?"
He didn't say a word...just looked straight at me with those big-blue begging eyes of his.
I sighed and formed a portal. "Hurry up...we'll go to Twilight Town for awhile...alright? I'll get you an ice cream...but then you have to promise to go STRAIGHT BACK and train!"
"I promise!" He shouted rushing through. It was TOTALLY against the rules for me to even LEAVE the castle...Portals were FORBIDDEN to students. But that never stopped me...and I sympathized with Tanex. I don't know how many of Saix's lessons I'd skipped out on. Escaping to various worlds...just to get away from the TORTURE and PAIN I HAD to go through...though I could never run from it FOREVER....
As we sat there...all Tanex seemed to go on about was how cute Nyx was, how she was like his little sister....how we were ALL family and could NEVER split up.
"Because the apprentices of the XIII...we'll never truly split apart no matter what happens. It's our destiny to be one. No matter what..." He spoke after finishing his ice cream...his eyes strangely serious and fixated onto that glorious sunset. "Right RaXi?"
"Whatever you say Tanex...whatever you say." I acquiesced.
Upon our return...I'd gotten scolded harshly. First from Marluxia...and then from Saix for missing my lesson. They claimed to have saved me from Xemnas's wrath. For my punishment...
My eyes snapped open and I stood up. Xakiah was standing over Nyx...still trapped inside her mind.
"RaXi What the...?!" Xakiah started. I ignored her...zoning in on the presence within the castle...
"He's here...that child..." I muttered. "That's why...grrr...."
In a moment, I left Nyx and Xakiah to appear where he was. He rushed me. The boy named Anamx. Pulling on my cloak he began begging me in a flurry of words.
"Lexian and Triskix! You have to stop them!! RAXI PLEASE!!"
It was then that I saw them. Lexian was standing before Triskix...both had their weapons drawn. I crossed my arms. "No." I denied.
"WHAT!?" He shouted.
I analyzed the looks on Triskix's and Lexian's faces. Then I looked at Anamx. "This is something they must settle between themselves. I will not interfere...at least not now."
Anamx fell to his knees in defeat, still clutching onto a piece of my cloak. I stood idly by...watching and waiting...
~RaXi
*****************************************************
Kira: Ur such a hypocrite...you keep THEM in line...then break the rules!
RaXi: Hey...YOU go through the PAIN I WENT THROUGH! Think Being a BERSERKER is EASY!!!!
Kira: o_o' whatever...I just think it's weird. Oh! Since you are all putting quotes from songs, hehe...try and figure out where mine is from! lol. I'll tell you...but you have to guess!
A cloud hangs over and Mutes my happiness,
A thousand ships couldn't sail me back from distress.
Wish you were here...I'm a wounded satellite.
I need you now, put me back together, make me right...
"Is this what you want Marlex? Me?" RaXi whispered to Marlex. "My embrace, my love, my.... kiss?" I watched as RaXi drew closer yet to Marlex when she said the last part. "If I gave you what you wanted...I would freeze you from the inside out and you would turn to dust and fade away. Your love is suicide...therefore, I can NEVER grant you your wish Marlex. Give up on it...unless you seek death." With that RaXi pulled away quickly from the stunned man.
I watched as RaXi approached us, but she denied herself to look at Xakiah and myself in the eyes. It wasn’t like her. I mean yes RaXi wanted all of us to be tougher and pushed us to be so, but this way wasn’t like her. It had to be due to her joining up with her dark side. Whenever she turned into her Dark side everyone and herself pushed her away. RaXi never was taught to control that side, now that it is a part of her, who said that she could control it. I wonder just what pact she made with her other side.
"We return to Oblivion. The rest is up to the others. We no longer have any part of this folly." RaXi stated as she opening a portal up for us. Xakiah stepped through the portal first followed by RaXi and secretly I actually wanted to say, if just for a moment.
Everyone and everything was changing with everyone I thought I knew, I have even changed, but the only ones that seemed not to have changed was the people I knew here… at Zero. Tanex question ran threw my head again, and I began to wonder what he meant by apprentices. I mean he never mentioned Zero at all. So who all knows of his plan? It made me think of Triskix goal as well, ‘Uniting everyone.’ I wonder if they know of each other’s goals?
Realizing I have been lost in my own thoughts once again, I raised my head to look at the portal in front of me. Clenching my hands I turned back to look at Marlex, "Marlex...just get out alright? Please."
Hanging my head I followed them threw the dark opening, and for once I wished that I were surrounded by light. All I needed now was some good old 3 Days Grace songs and it would all be good! XD
The minute we steeped threw the portal something didn’t feel right, I could tell that RaXi felt it too. Before she could say anything though she fell to her knees in pain holding her head. I tried running to her scared that it had something to do with her other side, but before I could even reach her the same thing happened to me. Crying out I fell down holding my head, as old memories hit me hard.
It was dark everything seemed so dark, but it was okay for some reason I could still see even in the darkest times. Climbing the steep staircase I had to see the angelic moon, if only one last time. Reaching the top I raised my hand out to it, and without me know it, my body seemed to walk on it’s own, toward it. With each entrancing step I reached my hand out further to the bright moon. Something bright seemed to pool out of my hand and into the heart-shaped moon.
Not long after I could hear someone coming up the stairs, I knew I should run but my feet would not move. Death I knew would follow if I choose not to move, but yet something unseen held me down to that spot. I guess if I was to die I wished that it would be here, so maybe the glowing orb would embrace me. I didn’t want to be left alone again.
The seen changed and children were running around. A boy with deep red hair ran by, it seemed that he was the leader of the little pack of boys following behind him. An older girl was chasing after him yelling about something; she carried over grown sword easily over her head threatening the boys. I couldn’t hold back the laughter that broke threw my lips, as I realized that I was the little girl watching the whole thing.
Once again the image faded and changed to another one, but this time I was the one watching the seen unfold. Saix stood in front of a dusty brown hair girl yelling at her to leave. The girl looked around as if trying to find someone familiar to her to run to, but found that no one was around. Saix raised his voice once more in almost a growl for her to leave, but the girl didn’t understand why. She did understand why everyone was leaving, why they were being hunted, why everyone around was fading away, and why it hurt to watch.
“Sensei? But… but I don’t want to. Everyone left I don’t want to as well!”
“I will NOT Repeat myself again! I have no need to; you will listen to ME and THAT Is FINAL! Do you understand?” Saix stated coldly to the crying child.
“Y… yes sensei.” Opening a portal for the child he motioned for her to go threw. “When will you come sensei?” Without saying a word he looked away from the girl and started to close the portal she stood in.
“Sensei... Sensei! I will see you soon, right?… Right?! Sensei say something!… Please!…… Sensei Please Don’t Leave Me Alone! SAIX! SAIIIXXXXX!” The young girl yelled out as the opening that the man made closed, but she wouldn’t leave it like this.
The girl thought of the man as a father then anything else, she had to do something. While she still had the place in her head she quickly made a sloppy portal, that took her not to the exact place again but a little ways away from Saix. The child knew that in her sloppy state if she tried making another portal she would end up farther away, looking up the staircase she began to run up it. She ran up the stairs as fast as her small legs could carry her, she could hear shouts of a battle coming from the top of the stairs.
Tripping only a few times she finally could see the top of it, and heard her teacher’s voice speak. Relief ran threw her at the sound that is until she reached the top and saw the seen in front of her. Staggering back she let out a small gasp that went unnoticed by the group as she saw her teacher, her friend, the one she considered as a father, the first one she trusted, vanish away from her. Leaving her alone, and never seeing his familiar face ever again. Then everything turned black.

And our memories defeat us,
And I’ll end this direst.
But does anyone notice?
But does anyone care?
