"So is it just me?" i asked this lesser nobody i was following. "No sir, all of our members are being gathered for a ...briefing, of sorts." replied the lesser nobody.
"Well then, this will oughta make things semi-interesting" i thought to myself.
"Or, this could be the order of a death march..." The voice ringed in my head...that would make sense, but unfortunately for me, i happen to have stumbled in here with less clues than i had hoped for...
"All that matters is that he shows me exactly what i need to know, no more, no less, your fate also lies with these answers, so dont pretend that you dont honestly care... you know as well as i do, once this is all said and done all that matters for both you and I is that we meet her...Oh and by the way, i dont exactly appreciate you trying to kill me in my sleep." i had said responding to the creature that has sealed my fate.
The lesser nobody looked back at me, with nothing but confusion on its face.
"Oh dont look at me like that, you see psychopaths ten times worse then me on a daily basis around here, turn your head around and lead me where i need to go..."
Yes, i was extremely used to that face, the look of astonishment, the look of oddity. the look of people thinking i was insane. you have to get used to it. When you look like your talking to yourself all your life, you get used to people isolating you, thinking you are possessed or something to that degree. Yet, after being isolated for so long, i have never been truly alone. I have been to the point where i would honestly kill to be alone again. But unfortunately my stars dont dictate that that will ever happen. At least not if things continue as they are.
I sighed, looked off in distance down the hall, the hall that never seemed to end.
"You know, sometimes i wonder if it would really be for the best if we find her..."i said quietly...
"You question it!? AFTER WHAT SHE HAS DONE TO YOU AND I?!" it screeched throughout my mind.
"Maybe..." i responded. Unaware of what was about to happen to me, i should have learned along time ago that questioning it was never a good idea.
Instantly, my mind felt a jolt of pain, i screamed, hit the floor, barley able to stay on my knees, hands clenched around my head. The nobody looked at me with astonishment "Sir are you ok!? Sir!...Sir!"
i couldn't hear him anymore, i couldnt hear anything. i couldnt see anything, i was barly able to keep myself breathing much less worrying about what is happening outside my mind.
This has happened before, i knew this trick...Crin wanted to remind me why i was fighting. Crin wanted to show me why i was fighting. Crin took it upon itself to show me why i was driving myself so hard. i was however rather stunned at how furiously it was trying to remind me, usually it just allows the memory to flash in my mind, but it was serious this time, it wanted me to relive moments.
"Which ones will you pick this time!" i yelled in the darkness.
"Oh i know, how about making me relive my parents leaving me! Ooo better yet how about the day i found you in the back of my mind, oh hey, wait how about the day i KILLED my best fri-" i stopped, i looked down, i saw it. I saw the corpse of my best friend, the person who swore to always be by my side, the only one who ever helped me in my life. I saw it, his body scorched, not recognizable at all. But i knew it was him, it was his pendant that i recognized. I stared at it, then saw myself grab it off his skeleton. Then i saw myself breakdown over his body,i looked around me and sighed."This was such a happy place...this was such a peaceful little village."i said to myself as i looked at all the charred houses for miles, all the ruin and devastation for miles..."I caused this all...or, should i say we did..."I said out loud
"It was the first time i had released my power through you, i didn't intend for it to be this catastrophic." It said floating behind me. I didnt look it in the face, i never have. I have had the chance so many times to look Crin in the eyes, i never took it. Why? I dont even know.
"Besides, you released me..."It chimed in.
"I didnt know what i was doing!" i barked back looking over my shoulder, but not far enough to actaully see this demon, this angel, this, demi-god...this creature!
I looked at my broken self, reached out to put my hand on his shoulder, on my shoulder. But just as soon as i had done so it had vanished. I closed my eyes and said..."ok, what next..."
As soon as i opened my eyes i had seen myself, falling against the floor, throwing up.I couldn't help but chuckle at myself and think about how much worse it was going to get, but of course i didnt know that at the time. I Glanced over, and it, the woman that was offering me guidance. Pinned to the wall by a staff...
Her blood smeared across the wall, her arms and legs clearly broken, he lower jaw missing entirely, and her eyes wide open revealing the pain and agony she had suffered before she had finally had the release of death. I looked up, saw the note...the note that would change my life. I knew i was reaching for it, even though this was a mere memory, i couldn't touch anything, i couldnt change anything. I saw the past me reaching to read it.
"ENOUGH!" i yelled... with a tear going down my face, "Please....Crin....dont make me relive this..."
I felt a warm hand on my Shoulder."I am sorry Xatticus." It said in a low voice.
"Its alright..." i said, feeling the ground stir away from under me. i could feel my feet touch new ground. My eyes were closed however. "I wont relive anymore you have made your point..."i chimed in. Then i heard it. I heard my voice. i heard the day i found the extent of what was "my" power.
"COME TO ME, I WILL ONLY KILL YOU ALL ONE BY ONE!" followed by a laughter. Then screams, screams of the thousands of nobodie that were sent to kill me. I had opened my eyes, just a small amount, only enough to see a wave of purple fire. A wave that destroyed, everything.
"NO MORE!" i screamed, and turned around with my eyes closed. Then i felt it, a warm embrace of a hug."Crin?" i questioned. i didn't hear a word i just heard the screams behind me.
I opened my eyes, to see the hallway i was traversing just a moment ago,i stood up. i didn't see the nobody.I had only assumed he had left to get help, or just to get away from me, which wouldn't be a surprise at all i walked a little further before hearing a muffled yell, i turned around. I saw the Nobody pinned to the ceiling with sand, and a assortment of weapons in sand form ,knive's , kama's , small spears. i snapped my fingers, and he feel to the floor. I gathered minerals to my feet, just enough to form a small rather crude mirror, i saw myself, i saw my eyes with white pupils,i saw my hair with the tips being blood red. I looked down.
"HA! well you are one lucky kid, it was only the first stage, anymore and you would be toast!" I said with a smile and laughed.The nobody just pointed down the hall, and yelled at me to go that way...
I walked with a small smile one my face.
"Thank you crin..." i said outloud...
"Your welcome...Atticus..." Crin replied...

"Wow, this place is big..." i said in disbelief as i looked all through the halls surrounding me. Confused of course, as i walked the halls just looking for almost anyone i could find...but of course there was no one to be found.
"Man what a pain..." i said out-loud to myself as i wandered further and further down a hall that quite honestly, i didn't know where it lead to."Seriously, who throws out random invitations to people asking them to come to places they have never even heard before...its all just to strange for my liking" I thought to myself.
After wandering aimlessly for what seemed like hours i was stopped imediatly from a voice to my side "You there! Halt!" this voice screamed at me. Of course confused i looked around and realized it had to be me as i felt like the only one within miles.
The one to the side of the woman who had yelled at me muttered something under her breathe then muttered another phrase that sounded much more urgent to her partner again.
"Later Nyx." the woman with lighter blue hair exclaimed. "first we address the issue at hand, We'll take him to Triskix" she said in a commanding voice, i had felt chills down my spine that i was all to familiar with, this was a woman who knew what she was doing, i could tell. So i thought she might be the right one to ask.
"Uh, Is this Castle Oblivion in The World that Never Was?" i asked hesitantly inching closer to her. "It is." she answered calming herself in the process. i got the feeling that i just entered something that i had no idea about and a major event took place. But it was none of my immediate concern. My only thoughts were to find the person who had sent me this letter, and question if they had truly known what they had proclaimed they did.
"well...I got this...and...well see?" i said shoving the paper in her face, not the best move to do i had realized, but i could tell this woman meant serious business and it would be best to get out of her way as fast as possible.
"Its the same paper the others had!" the one beside her exclaimed."I see now. Welcome to Oblivion, it would seem you were invited. My name is Nyx. This is RaXi. And you are?"
The one Named RaXi shot a glare at the one named Nyx for introducing her.
"Oh, i am Xatticus, nice to meet you."
"RaXi, please, wait for me, i am just going to take him to see Triskix really fast ok?" RaXi just looked in the opposite direction.I could tell she had a lot on her mind so i just thought it was best to get this over with. "Umm would really appreciate it if you did that for me...who ever this Triskix might be..."
Nyx just asked me to follow her. So of couse i did, what little option did i have left, as i walked by this RaXi, i felt a cold surrounding the air that i had not felt before. it was distinctive, like i knew i would never feel a bitter cold like that again.
"This RaXi...she might be one to look out for..." a all-to familiar voice in my head exclaimed as i walked by..."i know...i know..." i muttered under my breathe...
Nyx looked at my in confusion. "Ha...umm..long day sorry!" she just glanced off forward down the hall we were traveling down. looking around i realized that we were still in the same area i was in before hand."Umm, may i ask exactly where we are going"
Nyx turned to me and replied "Oh! were going to see Triskix you need to see him in order to-" her words were cut off. She had ran into a tall figure wearing his cloak al the way up to the hood. She apologized numerous times to this figure. Then this figure proceeded to say "Enough Nyx." he had turned towards me and asked "And who might you be..."
I just looked at this figure and stated "Xatticus, i received a invitation and i would hate to be rude and turn it down by mail..."
This figure just chuckled a small amount...
"Nyx, you may leave, i will handle this one myself..."
Nyx had turned around and walked briskly down the hall.
"Well its only fair i know your name now, may you be so kind as to enlighten me..."i had said with a smile on my face.
"You may refer to me as Leader..."
"Ohh, how mysterious..." The voice in my head exclaimed,i knew it would only be a bad idea to respond to that.
"You came, may i ask why..." Leader had said under his breathe as he proceeded to talk down the hall, i had no choice but to follow him. "Well, in the invitation it was clearly stated that there were quite a couple things i would be interested in knowing...so i figured why not check it out, its not like i have any better leads at the moment" I remarked looking in different directions down the hall, on the walls.
"Man, just stone, no paintings,no decorations, what a boring place" i had thought to myself...
"I see no need for elaborate trappings...this place serves the purpose it is meant to serve, no more, no less."Leader had said looking over his shoulders.
"Suprise,Suprise..." the voice in my head had exclaimed. I had just looked off in the distance and said" Well, you can read minds too huh, thats not very fun for the rest of us you know, i see no reason for me to be here, i think i am better off saying goodbye now. Well, wish i could say it was pleasant but, it really wasn't. See ya around Leader."
I had turned around walking the opposite direction, with a satisfied smile on my face."Well, back to square one i suppose..." I had thought to myself.
"You dont have to start back there." i heard Leaders voice.
"You should really stop that, its kinda creepy, and i am sure it invades some peoples privacy too" i chuckled to myself...
"i know where she is..." He had said under his breathe
I stopped. Dead. the smile on my face was gone."What did you say..." i said in a serious tone.
"i know exactly where she is, right this moment." He had said with a satisfying smile on his face.
"What do you want..."i asked gritting my teeth...
"You unwavering loyalty..." he had said, still with the same smug smile on his face.
"Do it, we have no other options..." the voice echo'ed...
I had turned around, walked within feet of him and said "Fine, you have my talents for now..." but as i was walking away i had thought to myself "But just know i am only as loyal as my options...and yes, i know you can hear this..."
"Just know your place, i will suffer NO insubordination..." His voice echoed through the hall...
I had turned around and responded "But of course!" as i had bowed...
turning around i had realized it...and screamed it out loud...
"OH GOD IM STILL LOST!"
"You should have stayed with that "Nyx" girl" the voice had echoed through my head..."are you kidding me did you see her reaction to this leader guy, he is something to be feared...for the moment anyway." I had responded
Only to trip moments later over a small person who had no distinguishing features.
"Ok, that was unexpected"i said getting up...
"Im sorry sir" this figure had immediately responded, "please accept my humble apologies" they had said nearly bowing to the floor.
"Eh, its cool were good, im just trying to find a place to stay for tonight." this figure had snapped to attention. "But of course sir right this way, will you be residing in the south tower tonight?"
"Umm, sure why not, i suppose" I Responded already following this figure."May i ask who you are?" i had asked, the figure chuckled and said "Nobody." i had responded immediately with "arent we all..."looking around the corridor."God this place is dull" i thought walking...
After walking for a couple moments, the figure had opened a door and said immediately "Will the 5th floor suit you?"
"Sure" i said walking into the room slowly...
"XATTICUS!" Screamed in my mind. i had turned around to see this little "Nobody" attempting to touch what was wrapped ever so preciously on my back...
"Carefull, you touch that, i just might hafta kill ya" i said in a happy tone, and smiling
The Nobody looked at me alarmingly, then laughed nerviously...
"Aww, how cute you think i am kidding...Well, thanks for showing me to my room, later little...thing" I said closing the door
I had thrown myself on my bed, it wasn't as comfortable as i had thought but it was suitable...
"So nice...to finally just relax." i had looked around the room. "Wow once again dull, Maybe we can just..." I thought sitting up, i looked around the room. Slowly stones were being removed from the walls and being placed in other slots, dirts and minerals were shifting to create patterns. Before much longer the room had looked entirely different.
i fell back down on the bed, raised my hand in front of my face.
"The power to control the earth, and everything that resides in it...huh...one day i will get used to it..."i said letting my eyes fall closed.
Moments had gone by , i had fallen asleep, but where i came from, even when you were asleep you had to be aware of whats going on around you.
Slowly the dirt specs, minerals, and small composites of rock started forming at the foot of the bed...forming a small demon that slightly resembled a cross of a dragon and a man. This small statue was growing larger and larger as more and more materials completed its existence.
"Xatticus..." it said in a chilling voice...
"Xatticus...I am hiding in the shadows, i am waiting in the dark" a small Blade started to form on its right hand..."To drive this blade, right through your throat..."
This abomination had reached the size of a full grown child
"I've been dreaming about you, in a pool of your own blood, with your eyes gouged out, your mouth erupting with blood, your chest ripped apart, your arms and legs broken and mangled..."
This abomination had reached the size of a full grown man...and was hovering over me with its blade to my throat.
I laughed...
"You know what will happen if you did that, you know exactly what would happen if i ceased to exist in this world...your stuck with me man, get used to it."
The door had opened...
"You have have been summoned" a voice said
"Already? Jeez, no rest for the wicked i suppose" i had jumped out of bed and walked out the door... the nobody had walked into my room, looked at my bed, full of dirt, and rocks..."What a Filthy Child!" it said with disgust...
