Calling All Artists: Photoshop Tutorials
A couple of great Photoshop tutorials topics have popped up recently at OB. These topics are pretty impressive, especially because they seem to be quite easy to follow.
We have created a pinned topic that will link to each tutorial. I have suggested that we could also link to some outside professional tutorials, too.
This would be a great opportunity for fan artists across theO to actually create their own tutorials so that we can build up a collection of them.

Thread of the Week
OBer (and prolific artist) jigglyness has put together a thread showing off selected picks of her artwork. There seems to be a good mixture of themes and ideas presented - well worth your time.
Jigglyness has been an active artist on OB, especially with the Graphic Worm. I love to see OB artists creating threads like this and promoting/discussing their work.
(Apologies to jigglyness for calling her jigglypuff! I must have Pokemon on the brain, haha). 
Art Studio Update
20 (at a time) Theme Challenge!!
New Member yakiimo has created a rather cool new thread which is already receiving some great submissions.
As per usual, OB's artists do not disappoint! If you're an artist here on theOtaku, you may find that OB's Art Studio provides a great place to compete in specific art challenges (or to simply participate in community art projects).
Congrats to yakiimo for a successful project so far - I hope we'll see more to come!
Thread of the Week
I've got a great thread for you this week. When I saw this thread, I wondered how many AMV creators we actually have on OtakuBoards and throughout the network. It would be great for all of our AMV creators to show their stuff at OB - who knows, perhaps we could even hold a set of awards for our AMV creators at some stage.
I think this is one very unique area of art/editing that doesn't seem to get much traditional coverage (perhaps because it's so non-traditional by nature).
What do you guys think about anime music videos? And, for that matter, are any of our readers involved with the creation of AMVs?
I remember that wonderful trailer for theOtaku.com a while back and I thought it was a great piece of work. Video editing can be a real talent, so I think it would be interesting to see what people in the community can come up with.

Sorry for the lateness with this one, guys. I've been moving house for my parents and I'm moving my own house in two weeks' time. So there's no home internet set up and it's all quite hectic at the moment!
Yet there's still time for some notable threads at OB. 
Rate the Avatar/Signature Above You
New member boothten has started a campaign to reinvigorate the Art Studio forum. And he's begun with the above thread, which is pretty self-explanatory.
We've had a thread like this before, but they are always popular. And they're a great opportunity to show off your signature (especially if you have a shiny new one).
I'm sure you will see more Art Studio-specific updates appearing shortly!
