Welcome to the Otaku Host Club! These are the rules - please read and follow them. It’s good cooperation within our community that keeps this club going and makes it fun for everyone!
1. Original characters (OCs) are encouraged for interaction in this club. They may NOT have any blood relation to a host. An original character should be ORIGINAL.
2. For your OC, you must start with a “base” - in essence, your physical characteristics, age, and species. If you wish to be a species other than human, you may only be the species of your host. If you are a human and wish to change species, you must do so with permission of a host who can “change” you to that given species, and only with the permission of one or more Mods. You may only change species 2 times after establishing your “base”.
3. Respect the hosts. They are nice enough to take the time to host you - please give the them the same courtesy they give you.
4. Hosts. As stated in the guidelines, you are to stay in character at all times. It is encouraged to expand to a point, however; drifting too far off of your character may and will lead to consequences. Please keep this in mind as you RP as the MODs shall be observing your behavior.
5. If you as a host don't want to have a girlfriend (or it is not in your character’s personality to do so), it is not required. Fans must respect this if that is the choice a host makes.
6. Keep interactions PG-13. There are minors in this club, and that needs to be respected. Please respect the ages of your fans and other members of the club, and take personal stuff to PMs.
7. If you wish to fight, let it be within reason. Everyone has disagreements, and some realms (ie. Bleach) may warrant physical fights, but there are no deaths here.
8. This RP is not real life. Please keep that in mind as you RP.
9. Absolutely no God Modding under any circumstances.
10. Do not cheat on your boyfriend/girlfriend, or be romantically/physically involved with someone who is in a relationship. On your first offense, you will be banned from the Proboards for 2 weeks. If you are caught a second time, then you will be banned from the club permanently. If a host is caught for cheating, their RPer will be banned from any role in the club, not just that of an individual host he/she RPs as.
11. If you are banned, you may not create a new account and join again. The only circumstances under which a person can come back to the club is if he/she is banned as a host, but would still like to be a fan.
